IMO, and I know this is shared by many, the birther conspiracy folk look rather unhinged, to the point where they are arguing that the state of Hawaii is pulling a conspiracy and that digitization of records doesn't happen.

So, do you think that the birthers look unreasonable and/or unhinged?
 
The bad loser mentality is a very bad trait in US politics and other facets of society.

Bush won in 2000 and 2004 fairly, and Obama is a US citizen and isnt a Muslim who wants to eat your young.

It makes you wonder which side has more loons.I think the die hard Bush bashers came up with more conspiracy theories than the die hard Obama bashers did.

After the McCain-Palin rallies, that question has been aswered for me. Wingers win, hands down. Yes, moonies are wacko, but we on the left KNOW they are wacko and don't chant along with them, etc.

I didn't make a claim, I expressed an opinion. Which I made clear with my phrasing. If I had stated it as a fact, I would have provided the research. But, I don't feel obligated to research that which doesn't interest me, although I don't mind passing along information that I may have read in the past - making it clear that I am going from memory.

Personally, I make every effort to check such things out before I make my "memories" public, but that's just me. :shrug:

I think I remember jackalope saying "he's" a "she".

Which, just like jackalope's claim, is an assertion of fact--a claim, if you will, that it is true.

Reading comprehension is so very helpful, is it not?
