If Meth Was Legalized...

If Meth Were Legal, Would You Use It?

You ought to do some serious reading on the topic. Almost everyone who destroys themselves with this stuff was "just going to try it."

It causes rapid, well documented and irreversible brain damage.

Would you try it if it were legalized?

No way.
The side effects seem bad, i'd be right up **** creek if i got addicted to Meth.

Fags and tea are my only addictions. I'd like to keep it that way.

I used to smoke. I gave it up... because I couldn't afford to buy two packs per day.

Tea is ok though! I prefer a nice Earl Gray.

Surprising. I thought the only reason you didn't do meth was because there's a law against it.

LOL...
Some, if not most laws benefit the people..Other laws are enacted due to fear and ignorance..
A century ago, I tried one of the poisons...arsenic ?...laws be damned.

I do not think this is enacted or bought out well enough on the TV show on AMC - "Breaking Bad".

Some people do the same thing with religions. I tried the stuff meth and religion I didn't like either because both can mean being blind in the extreme.

I like Earl Grey but i do prefer my PG Tips which i cannot live or function without. 4 cups min a day.

Good for you, i always keep telling myself (or rather lying to myself) and say i can give it up if i wanted and i'm not really addicted.

No. I've seen the effects of a meth user. I would rather drink drain-o.

Wait, wait, wait! So, you're capable of making positive life decisions without the government's supervision? Astounding!

I'm presuming the point has to do with drug legalization, as a counterpoint to assumptions that legalization would cause an increase in use?

You are most perceptive...

I wouldn't give meth a shot. Any illegal substances I've used have been for spiritual purposes, and there is certainly no psychedelic spiritual value to be gained from meth.

Meth Mouth. 'Nuff said. :2sick1:

Haha no, apparently not as I would still be rather drinking drain-o and until they pass a law banning me from drinking it I will be prone to drinking it :)

Yes, these are CNS stimulants, as is meth. The difference is the actual ingredients and the quality of those ingredients, as well as degree of medical supervision. Any medication can be abused, including OTC meds.

Desoxyn=methamphetamine hydrochloride

A junky would say, this is the best meth money can buy...

We give it to our kids....

I did meth when I was a student in L.A., nasty, nasty, horrible stuff.

My only drugs are coffee, cigarettes, beer and an occasional Campari. That's too much already, the cigarettes MUST go.

We give it to kids who have signs of a medical condition that might be improved by use of these medications (of course until we have a medical test that can differentiate ADD/ADHD from normal childish rambunctiousness, these meds will unfortunately be over prescribed :(). Used appropriately under a doctor's supervision, these meds can be an essential tool in helping some children succeed in school. Anyone taking these kinds of medications should be closely supervised by a physician and labs drawn periodically to monitor for toxicity and discontinued at the very first sign of trouble.

~edited: I was referring to illegal meth (the kind made in illegal meth labs) in my earlier reply.

I know what you meant... My point is that the same substance people think is the devil, is also a savior to some. Its what people do with these chemicles that is the problem.

Very true. I think I misunderstood the message you were trying to get across. Sorry about that :3oops:.

hey no worries....

People have this fear of substances. When the actual fear for the most part is the person....

I don't do drugs. I am the Good Reverend, I can't possibly get more "enhanced", as I am perfection personified... .But enough about me..... ;) I look at thing realistically...... SOmeone doing meth on occasion is no different than a kid on his add medication...... Both can go too far though...

I heard about a spinoff of exstacy.... its some concoction that if you f it up, and its easy to do, it causes immediate and irreversable parkisons.... I gotta look that up. Now that **** is scary.....

The legality of a drug does not prevent me from using it.

But no, I'd never use meth.
