No I'm not sorry I voted for a president Obama who cares for his country as a whole and not focused on ramming his thumb up America's backside for the sake of his selfserving party.

    Change is great.
There was change? We still in Iraq? We still doing the secret spying on Americans, the torture, Gitmo still open? Hmmm. Spending still out of control? Deficit still skyrocketing? Government still pandering to Wallstreet? Hmmm.

This hope and change is the calling card of the partisan; Obama is relatively no different that Bush. The R changed to a D, and that's about all you got for change right there.

Well the better question then is which politicians do have morals? I think if we are honest with ourselves, we would find that to be a very short list.

I predict that the most virulent Obama supporters will eventually re-register with different nicks and new e-mail addresses.

Remember, by 1950, no ordinary citizen of Germany had ever been a member of the Nazi Party.

I just imagine that the same effect will be seen in America.

The beauty of this poll, is that it can be referred to as the months go by.

Amen. I like what he's done so far, but i'd like him to be a tad more socially liberal. I want Dont Ask Don't Tell overturned, and would prefer him to drop the whole "marriage is between a man and a woman" rhetoric.

I predict the most virulent anti-Obama supporters will be driven mad and crazed as the years pass, and begin to flog themselves after Obama is re-elected in resoundingly decisive re-election.

This sort of meaningless name-calling empty rhetoric crap makes trying to discuss something terribly tedious.
As for the issue at hand, no, I'm not sorry to have voted for Obama. I didn't expect the messiah, I expected someone who would try to rebuild our damaged nation and Obama's been impressive and refreshing in a number of ways. Do I disagree strongly with him on a whole host of issues? Of course. But he's been a big improvement over his predecessor at the very least.

I voted for Obama with fairly low expectations, and he just about met them. He has done a little better in the foreign policy direction than I expected, and a little worse in the domestic area. Hope and change was a pipedream, I voted for him because he wasn't quite as bad as his competition.

Not at all. I voted for him, things are getting better, I'm happy. The only legislation I do not like thus far is the Cap and Trade Bill.
