Who ever wants to keep taxes low and the government off my back gets my vote.

It has gotten to the point I just want someone in office that is completely honest thru and thru. At this point I almost dont care about their views. Im just so sick of dishonesty and shady deals from both sides.

Well I have a different outlook on voting. I dont vote very often. I consider voting the same as a personal stamp on the candidate. I will not vote for anyone that I dont support 100%. I just dont agree with voting for the "lesser of evils". Plus when I dont have a single candidate I would vote for I can bitch about all of em since none were worthy of my vote.

Well they all lie, the question is which one lie's the less.

Even though this is a unscientific poll, I find the results very telling.

    Especially:

At the time of this post, only 4 persons polled chose a fiscal liberal, and all three chose a fiscal liberal Democrat.

Considering that "fiscal conservative" does not really exist in politics, this, in my mind, explains why people dislike government so much lately.

I will vote for a strong fiscal conservative or whoever is not an incumbent or Democrat. The Democrats go wild every time they get control of Congress and the White House. Obama learned some good lessons from Clinton's first two years.
    1) Don't allow legislation to stay in conference long enough for the citizens to read or politicians to spin hence the "Rush Rush, It is critical" fear-mongering.

    2) Tell people they are investing and stress costs containment over and over and over again.

When has government ever lowered costs on anything. Spiralling healthcare costs are what we have reaped from "The Great Society" and federal reserve devaluing the dollar through debt issue monetary policy.

Can't really say right now as the candidates aren't finalized yet, the quickest answer is I'll vote for the best candidate available, no matter the affiliation.
Neither side in an argument can find the truth when both make an absolute claim on it.
