    I absolutely agree.
Neither side in an argument can find the truth when both make an absolute claim on it.

I break laws on occasion, but I will also accept the consequences of whatever laws I break.

Cities often drop speed limits in their area because speeders generate revenue for them.
That is why we have asinine speed limits everywhere.

You ever notice that when an interstate freeway passes through a city that the speed limit magically drops for no reason.

Actually it drops due to congestion in the area.

65 mph through downtown is contraindicated for pedestrians.... Just sayin....

I was passing through Alabama on my way to Birmingham and was on the interstate. It goes through a couple of small towns where the speed limit drops.
    No noticeable congestion.

I'm telling you if an interstate passes near any small town they expand their town size to incorporate part of the freeway for revenue purposes.

    Yes.

Seat belt laws exist for someone else.

    Speed limits are suggestions.

Good point. The end is the same regardless. Whether you accept it really does not matter much.

Yeah, but I hate whiners who are willing to break laws and then bitch about the consequences of breaking those laws. If you believe in it enough to break the law, you should willingly accept the consequences.

I break the law because I felt it needed breaking, not because I think I can or should be able to avoid the consequences.
