    Re: Palin resignation

To Singularity, I do believe Palin quit her job because she couldn't take the heat. She could dish it out but she couldn't take it.

Where were you when she was on th campaign trail attacking Obama with evey lie and innuendo she could muster? Accusing him of being the same as the people he palled around with. Even the Republicans made fun of her and called her McCains attack dog.

Since when do we not need a intelligent well informed person to run the highest office in the land? We require more education and inteligence for some of the lowest government jobs than Palin has. Even Bush with his 98 IQ at leas had graduated from college.

I do believe that Palin finally drew the line at the vicious attacks on her family. Being a good mother does not qualify you for the highest office in the land.

I'll bet $50 that she has a TV show by the end of the year.

At first her move was baffling, since resigning seems a bad move if she was planning on a run for the WH in '12. Now I think she wants to be a Huckabee/Oprah hybrid, where she can host a conservative TV show, write a few books and basically cash in Big Time.

I doubt she has the intelligence to write a book or conduct a talk show. Being a politician doesn't require you to be able to do your job.

    Re: Palin resignation

I don't know what to think about Palin anymore. If she had any hopes of running for President I have no idea why she would resign her office of governor.

Maybe she has something up her sleeve that nobody knows about. But then again maybe not. She is either insane or brilliant.

    No. Not in the slightest.

Didn't she say that one of the reasons for quitting was to get her family out of the limelight. How does one do that when they plan to hit the "national" limelight?

I would chat with her when I'm feeling particularly snarky, but I wouldn't ever call her on the phone.

My opinion of Palin did not change. I still think she is great.

I love this woman, what can I say. I may not agree with her on everything but dang it, she is great.
