I am not into hot spices. I love a juicy, tasty, well marinated steak with some sauteed mushrooms and a baked potato!

I have an uncle that makes his chili so "hot-n-spicy" that sweat beads down your face when you eat it..

I don't cook anything that doesn't have at least Tabasco sauce in it, if not some nice peppers (jalapenos make a good sweet pepper to cook with, habanero when I want to kick it up a notch...BAM!) I think I've killed a lot of pain receptors because I have to get the spiciest to have the experience of eating anything spicy. Lower than that tends to be "mild". A lot of "spicy" food is actually American spicy, i.e. not at all.
See... I don't think Tabasco is spicy. I just think it's disgusting.

Try the one that comes in a green bottle. It's great! And if you don't like that, try the Habanera Sauce. 2 drops in a taco made me start crying .

It's alright, it's not very spicy, not even the habanero one (though it's ok). I like the Chipotle one the best, even though it's not spicy at all I think it tastes really good.

I like savory flavors. I think when something is too spicy, it kills the taste experience and just eclipses it with heat. Not an enjoyable experience.

Exactly. When I'm pain, I'm not longer enjoying any flavor. There IS no flavor at that point. There is only hot. And hot for the sake of hot is not appetizing. I like flavorful and savory, as you said.
