Who is your favorite national talk show host?

Neal Boortz or Rush Limbaugh?

Or somebody else?

Neither. While I catch Rush occasionally, usually it's only to laugh at him, he's such an egotistical putz, I just can't take him seriously. Boortz, while I suppose I could find him on a station somewhere, simply doesn't interest me either.

Both of them are pointless wastes of airtime.

other - Andrew Napolitano

I like Terry Gross on NPR. Her interview with Gene Simmons is great as well as the one with Rick Sanatorium.

Everybody should take a look at Neal Boortz. Even if you can't listen to him, you can read his "NUZE." I assure you, it's very informative. Be sure to check out the reading assignments at the bottom.

I listen to Boortz, usually pre-recorded as we have a local talk show that is on during his normal time. I also don't think we get the whole show here, but oh well, its something to do during midnight to 1am at work besides "harass the public" and "violate their rights".

It used to be Stern when he was on E!

Care to actually answer the OP?

I did. It asks which one is better, I choose none of the above.

Since anyone I listen to isn't nationally syndicated, I'll leave it at that.

Just because they aren't nationally syndicated doesn't mean we don't want to hear about them.

I don't listen to talk radio. I come here to get the opinions of idiotic partisan morons.

:2wave:

Howard STERN has, is & always will be #1
but since you are hocking the political angle, i assume, it would be Boortz.
and can you not still hear him streamed on the internet?

I occasionally listen to Rush mostly for comic relief, although he's often extremely irritating. It would be amusing to see him in a debate with a well-versed political theorist or economist like [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Dahl"]Robert Dahl[/ame] or [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuel_Bowles"]Samuel Bowles[/ame]. I don't listen to Boortz, but I did read one of his books. It reminded me why propertarians and their misappropriation of the "libertarian" label irritate me. :)

Yet the question specifically asks about nationally syndicated talk radio, so we'll stay with that.
