As more and more information keeps coming out about his questionable doings going back to 2001 at least... and his embarassing public statements keep rambling on... more South Carolinians are calling for him to resign.

South Carolinians tend to expect our leaders to demonstrate some moral restraint in their lives, especially if they stand up as supporting family values. Oddly enough, we believe that if you're going to preach it, you need to practice it; we don't suffer pretenders gladly.
I think it is entirely possible that Sanford will resign within three months. The pressure for him to do so is mounting.
He needs to. He needs to put his own house in order before he's fit to run the State's "house".
And he needs to make up his mind that whether he's going to dump his Argentenian enchilada or his long-suffering wife. He's acting like a lovesick teenager instead of a mature man, and it is embarassing the whole state.
