I approve of the free trade within the EU.

I may also retire to a small village near Mladá Boleslav in the Czech Republic.

Serbia must be made to suffer before will let those war criminals to join the EU.

luners mate do you think I do not sympathize with your sentiments a bit.

Dont forget my Serbian mother in law and my Croatian father in law were in there house in Drnis when the Serbian Tanks rolled over the hills at the back of the house.

I do not wish to talk of the atrocities that happened in Drnis and Knin then or when General Ante Golovina returned to drive the Serbs out.

I was in Serbia last year the Pizda's are becoming harder to find, the majority of the young like in Northern Ireland want peace and prosperity, should we deny them this because of the sins of there ancestors, that game is entreched in the black heart of Balkan Nationalists.

Has our royal family not met with the Japanese royal family, is Germany not part of th EU, should we deny the Turks because of what the ottermans did.

Paisley sits with McGuinness and Adams

Europe could be a superpower that can surpass the United States. The pieces are there. All we need is a push and then Europe can realize its full potential.

What urges us to be a superpower? I think there are many countries in the world in which people are more content with their lifes than the people in China e.g.?

I will be happy when Croatia, then Serbia join Slovenia in the family, followed by Turkey it is happening.

The dead ottomans can turn in their graves, the nationalists pizda's in Croatia and Serbia can rot, and the little englanders can read the Mail and Telegraph fall asleep and dream of our lost colonies:lol:

Can you imagine peace and stability in the Balkans:2party:

No offense, dude, but Serbia is more in line with Russia than with Europe. For instance, look at the whole Kosovo thing. Almost every EU nation, including the Big Three (Britain, France, and Germany) has recognized Kosovo as an independant nation, something that has angered Russia and Serbia. I look forward to Croatia, Macedonia, and Turkey joining the EU, but the likelyhood of the other former Yugoslavic nations joining is slim.

Either way....Europe + "push" == very bad thing.

I think to many people live in the shadow of fear. Maybe it is time for all of us to decide to live and not shake at all the ghosts that we see around the corners.

I think the EU could do without Anthem's and Flags as well. Maybe if we stacked all the flags of all the countries in a pile and set fire to them we would all realize that we are people, humans and find some common ground. We would lose that idea that we are this or that and become the many.

We have divided the world and set up walls and fences that keep us apart. Flags divide. Religion divides. Maps with borders divide. Language divides. Then we divide by Race, Creed Color and orientation. It is all so much bull****. It is time that we all take off the diapers and stop sucking our thumbs and live as a world and not cower in childish fears.

Russia, Serbia, Europe, Kosovo, EU, Big Three, Britain, France, Germany, Croatia, Macedonia, Turkey and Yugoslovia. (I know some of those are the same) Isn't it time that all those names become one and we get rid of all this national nonsense. That is so dumb. The lines on a map make us enemies. Nothing is more silly then someone waving a nations flag saying how much better they are than another nation. It is time to get over it and be one.

Not everyone wants to join the club.

Living together in peace requires your neighbor also desire peace. Unfortunately, some do desire war, and so long as some desire war, all must be ready for war.

Every nation's swords must be beaten into plowshares, or every nation's swords must be preserved. There is not, alas, a third alternative.

I want a system of laws that morons can't vote for something stupid and change the rights of others. I don't want idiots to be voting changing your rights or mine. That is what I am saying. I what courts that enforce laws not write laws.

I do not want a fascist society. I want what it says in the ruling documents to be followed . That is exactly what you want. Don't tell me that we are thinking differently on this point. You want the laws of the land followed, is that true? Yes or No would be the answer. Not telling me what i am thinking and what I am not thinking. Do you want the constitution followed. Yes or No. If your answer is yes we are on the same page.

While I want the laws of the land followed and the Constitution adhered to, we differ on a fundamental level and that's what makes you the fascist and me the libertarian. All your wording points to the fact that you want restrictions on the People. You think people are stupid if they don't think the way you do, you don't want those people having a say in the matter because you have deemed them stupid. Your restrictions are against the People, the rulers of the government.

My restrictions are against the government, not the People. I don't allow the government to do certain things, especially if what they want goes against the innate and inalienable rights of the individual. I recognize that all government gains its power and rightfully rules only by the consent of the People...all the People (even the ones you think stupid). While this is a Republic and not strict democracy, meaning that the basis is laws and rights not the whim of the majority, I pose no restriction towards the People themselves and recognize their right and duty to control the government.

That's the difference, we may in practice support many of the same actions, but the base reasoning is different and that's huge because it's that rhetoric and philosophy which places power. You place the power in the government and seek to restrict the people. Fascism defined, everything for the State. I place power in the People and seek to restrict the government. Republic defined, everything for the rights and liberty of the individual.

The more damage that can be done to nationalism anywhere the more i like it. The more countries begin to blend the closer to one world government. Down with nationalism everywhere. It divides and makes us enemies.
Nationalism does not necessarily make us enemies.
Ignorance and fear do this...and you may throw in religion..
We must try to keep things in balance...this is a challange for man..
The one world government will come......in 500 years....or so:mrgreen:

All fine and dandy, but we are dealing with billion of people....we must progress, but we must not rush into civilization...this seems strange...but its true..

I think you just like to call people names. We want the laws followed therefore we are the same. You have added extras onto me that do not exist so that you could tag me with names that I have never in my life been called.

I want to see that the laws of the land are held pure and clear. I refuse to continue this nonsense with you.

All fine and dandy, but we are dealing with billion of people....we must progress, but we must not rush into civilization...this seems strange...but its true..

I have said over and over that my world ideas won't exist in my lifetime. I don't think people are interested in peace or freedoms for that matter. They want to hang onto the old ways with guns and swords. They want to wear there little flag and say my country is better than yours. As long as this is the policy of people we will never have anything except the status quo. That means that every so often people need to go running off killing one another. If thats what people want let them have that.

It will be no skin off my teeth I will be dead in say 40 years or less and I won't really have to give a crap how many people kill each other because they think that is the best way.

There will be no Utopia because people don't want one. There will always be war because people say there always will be. Most people make their words prophetic. In the light of what people say we see the writing on the wall. We are in for a bad end because people are basically cowards and afraid of real change.

Ignorance is fear and that is what holds people back. They fear the unknown and they want to keep the same old shoes because they feel good. To step out and shake hands with a true enemy as a sign of peace is way beyond the mentality and courage level of the average person. They would rather point a gun and make some asinine preconditions to talk to somebody. The US with it's preconditions is a joke. Just who the hell do we think we are. If I were another nation I would tell us to go **** ourselves with our preconditions.

Those impede the peace process. That is our fear talking. I am of the opinion that Americans live in greater fear than anyone in the world and I refuse to live that way.

I think you just like to call people names.

I find this very ironic coming from the person declaring people "stupid" and thus should have no influence over the government.

Sorry if you took offense, but you are what you are. Anyone who places power through the State over the People and wishes to isolate the State and its "innate" power from the People is a fascist. That's just what that political ideology is.

I have the perfect solution to your woes.

Implement a new policy which prohibits net tax consumers from voting. If you are living off the largesse of society you've no right to dictate the manner in which it governs.

I would like to see a United States of Europe complete with it own army, expand France's Independent Nuclear Deterrent to cover other States.

Now, that's an idea that makes sense

The European Union has provided a common market for European goods and has increased the standard of living in many of the member-states. Many "Eurosceptics," however, fear that as the EU's central government grows stronger as the organization evolves, the member-states lose their independance and their individual national identity.

What do you think?

EU and EURO are very good things!

As far as the EU goes, if thats what they want, have at it I say. But I don't think its a model we should adapt for ourselves.

I'm not big on nationalism, to the point where I think it needs to be upheld no matter what, but I support it enough in that I recognize that there are several other types of government I would not want to live under, just to satiate the desire that we all live under one world rule.

So you would restrict someones freedom to have a voice in government based on income? It's frighting to think where that would end.
