Then maybe your state needs to develop a better crop?

We shall, as soon as the federal government legalizes Marijuana.

I smoked for about 50 years, as did my parents, starting when I was 8. Neither of them died of cancer or lung related diseases. My father was over 90 when he died and my mother died at nearly 87. I quit a couple of years ago because I thought it might be compromising my health . It was a very difficult thing to do and I used all the quitting aids I could find. My MD said it had been found to be more difficult than heroin to quit. Maybe, I don't know. My wife still smokes.

All those things you tell yourself about why you still smoke are just rationalizations. It's time to quit. You'll be glad you did.

In the meantime try real hard to ignore the unbelievable mean spirited and just plain stupid social and political pressures being put on you. It will just raise your stress level and make you want another cigarette.

Can't come up with anything actually worthwhile, huh?

Currently I am enjoying a Camacho 5th priming 11/18 and an ale from Defiant brewing company while the rib racks smoke tenderly wafting aromatic smoke across the neighbors yards....

Well we already grow other things, as you have to rotate out tobacco crop locations every season because tobacco crops damage the soil.

Tobacco is more of a cash crop though.

That doesn't make tobacco a worthwhile crop however, nor the only cash crop that can be grown.

Well, the way this country is going nothing is a good cash crop these days.

Thats why so many farms in eastern NC are getting turned into trailer parks.
