    Partisan Junk

I was wondering if everyone out ther hates the Partisan crap as much as me. As much as we all do engage in partisanship ( unavoidable) our Senators are completely embroiled in it, and get nothing done due to it. How about we all just make friends, and stop fighting, and save the damn country before it's too late? And fill in the asterisks with whatever you want .

So you think the way to "save the country" is to have senators compromise on things thay may violate thier core principles?

No, I think the way to save the country is to open up to more ideas and possibilities. Change from just liking what your party agrees with to what you agree with, regardless of having to stick with what you're told to do. For example, I'm a Democrat, but I'm for a big Army, and gun rights...stuff like that.

Oh, and cutting anything that wastes time, like the lobbyist system, and retarded old people sometimes refered to as "Senators."

I don't think many people are for everything a party promotes. I am a democrat because they most closely match my beliefs, but I do find the occasional thing to bitch about them doing.

    that's good for you.

I am for small government, Civil rights, and self determination.

If I were a senator, I would not be the guy who would say *yes* to any government expansion. Core values.

The Good Reverend also occasionally finds something about the democrats to bitch about.

Yeah, and people tend to get pressured by peers ( Senators pressuring Senators) and bull**** like that. Wasteful stuff.

    Good point.

I have no problem with politicians having certain principles that they won't change in, but I just wish that they would think about their principles first.

The problems with "partisans" isn't them not sacrificing their principles, but that they won't sacrifice for their party.

That way our politicians wouldn't follow the party line so much, and wouldn't lie to protect other politicians in their party, even when they know whats right.
Because of course, if a politician's core principle is against lying (which I wish all of them would be against) then of course they certainly shouldn't be sacrificing that.

I like it when nothing gets done.

Especially now, when we have a Messiah in office.

I mean in general, including when your party has majority, and the oval office. I bet you get pissed at the Dem's for trying to block Repub. bills, eh?
