Have you ever seriously and maliciously harassed or violently assaulted someone solely because that person is gay?

I broke one guy's heart when I told him I was straight.....does that count?

But in fact I have witnessed it happen twice. Once in high school when a guy on my football team kicked a gay guy who was sitting in the hall way. He walked by and kicked him, and said "fag" Needless to say, I was never really friends with that guy!! The second time a guy I was friends with at one time, beat up a gay guy outside a bar. He was drunk, but he still assaulted the guy. But the second example was more a case of the guy had a big mouth, and got beat up for it. The guy I knew used derogatory slurs when he was beating him up, and he got charged with a hate crime(which is stupid, but that is another totally different topic).

A strange question. I don't imagine anyone will own up to doing something illegal on a very public board. I could be wrong though, the world has all kinds of stupid.

I've never hit a gay man but I have punched a couple of faggots right square in the mouth.

I've been in fights where the other person used racial slurs at me. But that isn't what the fight was about nor why he used slurs. In conflict people search for something hateful to say, but what they say isn't what the conflict is about.
I don't think anyone fears being arrested for saying they harassed or even asssaulted an unnamed someone. Harassmen isn't a crime and posting in an ID you beat someone up unnamed is not putting some at risk.
I assaulted people, even aggravated assault. Some came to involve police. Others not. I'd write of ones never to police attention but why would anyone want to read that?
 
The thought never even entered into my mind, to be honest. About the only people that I have used force with were those that were hurting or threatening weaker people, generally a guy yelling at kids or a woman. Only a couple of times did it turn into physical violence... I have never even had a bad conversation with a gay person... some man hating dikes have been really rude, but that is the extent of it. :)
 
I did threaten some "good ole boys" in SD one night with a pistol. Of course they threatened to rape me first. I think the gun was justified. I swear the leader pee'd himself when I aimed right at his crotch. I thought I could see balls and **** crawl right back inside!

Anyways...... turn the other cheek is a dumb idea sometimes...... Gay or straight, if anyone tries to hurt me, I defend myself. I don't go out of my way to antagonize peeps though.

Absolutely not.

As perceived by a gay person?
Probably, given that people are prone to perceive things as they want to, and so something that might be taken as completely innocent or irrelevant to anyone else, a gay person (in general or more likely, in particular) might take as intimidating -- or even as an assault.

No. I have mercilessly mocked a lesbian on another forum, though. But it had nothing to do with her being a lesbian, she was just a moron.

I bashed a Lesbian once, when she tried to stick a glass in my throat.

I have also bashed straights for the same thing.

Thank you darling, when I was young and in the music buss first time, I had quite a roster of gay artist admirers, they new my sexuality was fixed on conception.

Oh yeah at first it is flattering but heck after telling the guy a zillions times that I'm not gay and his annoying obnoxious drunkenness.....I don't think I called him a fag or anything but my uncle's boyfriend did.;)
