Is america less safe under Obama?

This has been a constant claim by Republicans and enhanced interrogation supporters alike- That America is less safe under Obama.

Here's an example : Cheney Says US is less safe under Obama

Another: GOP to Obama : America is Less Safe

Now, if you've been following this, you'd have heard yesterday that Tom Ridge, the first Homeland Security Secretary, said that America is NOT less safe under Obama.

So, let me ask YOU- what do you think, is America less safe under Obama?

I, personally think we are more secure under Obama, for the following reasons:

1) We aren't torturing people anymore and aggravating terrorist groups even more

2) We aren't running around basically saying " **** you " to Iran, and other nations with powerful arsenals that we don't get along with.

Not nearly enough evidence to say either way. I suspect we are at least as safe as we were under President Bush, but that is not based on any empirical evidence.

So I'm black right. And I managed to get a plane with Bush. And I can still do it with Obama. So in terms of a hypothetical situation where I'm a terrorist. Things haven't really changed.

Oh stop already...

The new president doesn't get to appoint an entire new FBI.

These agents are hard-working, smart, the best and the brightest. I believe they carry the burden of past and it makes them more diligent than ever.
