    Meh, If I were a part of the economist team I would probably try to put false hope in the people for the simple fact that there's a good chance that they would start spending more thus fueling the fire in the process.

    So I don't necessarily believe that it's getting better at all. I think they may be trying a placebo-like tactic.

    Yeah, I can see that. But that means that if the economy wouldn't improve after the increased spending, then we would be in an even worse place about people being distrustful of the government.

    So I think we can trust them now. But when the economy recovers, we need to be watchful again that they don't create another bubble with cheap money.

    Nerv, economists say things to get published. "Right" or "wrong" hardly enters into it.
