Psilocybin is the is the psychoactive compound most commonly found in hallucinogenic mushrooms.

Morning glory is a flower, and legal.

LSA is Lysergic Acid, the naturally occurring precursor to Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD). It can be extracted from Morning glory seeds, as well as Hawaiian baby woodrose seeds and the fungus Ergot.

I had never heard of getting high off Morning Glory either. Isn't that the ugly flower that is posion? :2razz:

Morning glory tries to creep out of the woods and into my backyard every year. I had no idea people could get stoned on it.

I've always wanted to study the cooperative hallucination properties of it, but there's no way in hell I'm going to smoke the stuff myself and even my most brain-damaged stoner friends get cold feet about "trying new things" when I break out my clipboard.

This country has the highest consumption of drugs, legal and illegal, on the planet.

Every once in a great while I will still do Kratom and Salvia. Both are nice in their own way if used properly.

yeah, the nightshade family of plants is not one you want to go wantonly dabbling with. Not a very good risk reward trade off there when the reward is a dissociative hallucination that could potentially last a couple of days so intense that it would almost mandate supervision for your safety, and with a slight misjudgment in the amount or dosage the risk is death. Good call on giving that one a pass, although I admit it would be a very interesting study.

interesting tangential tidbit, the image of a broom riding witch possibly stemmed from a method of Datura administration. The plant was boiled down and rendered into an ointment, which was then coated on a broomstick and administered labially as she "rode" her broomstick.

I know, and none of the other ones really surprise me or concern me that much. Meth is just the most pathetic 4-toothed redneck 63 IQ cousin-****ing drug I can conceive of. That's really, really disturbing.
