The problem is, the question seems to be nearly sense-free. You might as well have asked, "Which is more barbaric, cooking dinner for someone else to eat, or eating a dinner someone else has cooked?"

I mean, what the frak is that, a Zen Koan? "What is the sound of one hand clapping... If a man farts in the woods, and there's no one there to hear it, does it still stink?"

Seriously, was there a point or purpose in this, or where you just screwing around for your own amusement?

Ok please don't be rude. I'm not begin rude.

Read below please.

Could you elaborate on that?

G.

I was wanting people to set aside their personal liking or dislikings of hunting or whatever and answer the question as a third person looking in.

But now I understand what kind of people answer these polls.

Well, some of your comments, such as the boldface above, are a tad snide.

My own comments were more incredulity than insult, at least by intention.
However, if you think I was rude, then I apologize.

There are still all sorts of interesting insights that we might gain from a discussion of the slaughter of food animals. I made some attempt to bring in serious questions recently, especially about our cultural view of butchery. Unfortunately you didn't pick up and run with any of these discussions as far as I can tell. Or much of anything offered by any other posters. So I'm really not certain what it is you were looking for in the way of a 'third person looking in.'

why in the world do some people get duped into become vegetariand when they were born with Meat Eating Teeth

That's a good question.

I don't think people get "duped" into it, but I think it is a choice. Sometimes it has to do with health issues or religious beliefs.

People have their reasons I guess.

here's a hint on how they are duped
they are born with carniverous teeth, yet someone talks them into not eating meat.

No they are not.

Perhaps I misconstrued then; if so, my apologies.

While I might not agree with you on much else, I do like the quote in your sig line - great concept.

What if someone is disgusted at the fact that animals are eaten? What if they cannot grasp that concept and decide not to eat meat?

That is not begin duped. If it is a religious thing, I can see how it be called "duped," but sometimes it is not the case.

You couldn't have provided a better example of my point. You take your **** behind closed doors.

If you did otherwise, people might think you were, well, just a bit uncivilized.

:2wave:

Maybe you do, but I've popped a squat along the roadside and in the woods on more than one occasion. ;) More occasions than I could count, actually.

But hey, if you want to go that route, then...

Which is more barbaric:

Taking a ****?
Or
Having someone take a **** for you?

i dont have a problemwith either one, but then im kinda a savage sometimes
