I concur.

It's one thing to support humane treatment of animals under our domain. It's another to place the lowest of lifeforms as equal to human beings, which is, in fact, the belief of many hardcore PETA activists.

I ran into a PETA activist at a social gathering once. After a few rounds of cocktails the guy got into heated arguments with some of the other party guests. He went so far as to say that extermination of cockroaches was the moral equivalent of murder. I'm not joking. The guy was dead serious.

Considering that they give financial support to domestic terrroists, The Animal Liberation Front, I regard them as a menace.

I don't think the ads are effective, though.

I look at that and I want ot become a vagitarian, not a vegitarian.

PETA is a good idea gone bad as said before. The extreme ideas, the rediculous ideas for campainging (Holocaust on your Plate), and financial support to ALF terrorists is more than enough to put me off.
