PETA: A terrifying example of what happens when the short bus door doesn't lock properly.

    Re: PETA is?

PETA is a good idea gone bad as said before. The extreme ideas, the rediculous ideas for campainging (Holocaust on your Plate), and financial support to ALF terrorists is more than enough to put me off.

Are you implying something about the existance of PETA?

You know, animal welfare (WELFARE, not "rights") groups exist - even before PETA, and do a whole lot more good.

    Re: PETA is?

I can't argue that in very general terms, good animal husbandry is a good idea, but groups like PETA go way, way, way too far. They place animals on a level at, or in some cases, above humans and human interests, they want to end all human usage of animals for any reason, take the pets out of homes, etc.

That's simply a bad idea on just about every level.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

PETA = A little mini Animal Concentration Camp (According to the Center for Consumer Freedom)

Press Release | PETA Killed 95 Percent of Adoptable Pets in its Care During 2008

And PETA sure does have a big ass budget for so little animals handles a year.
Does it really take 32 million dollars to off a bit more than 2,000 animals?
Is society was made of coral our world would be floral.

I'm sure that for only $1,000,000 I'd off at least 4 or 5 thousand.
