It could happen, but not with the plans Obama and Co. are following, never has, never will produce such results.

On what do you base the chances of Obama's plans working? Hope? Emotion?

Can you show some threads where you felt the same way about Democrat Obstructionism while Bush was President?

Conservatism has to find a new home if the GOP house can't evict the current residents who only masquerade as conservatives.

Selfishness and greed are the clarion call for GOP uber capitalists who only pretend to be conservatives.

There seems to be no capacity for shame and/or embarrassment among the GOP.

Their only real talent lately has been to try to sweep things under the rug, coverup the crimes of their colleagues, and to try to dupe the dopes among us who still have faith in the GOP leadership...
You sound so bitter, do tell, name three conservatives in the past 50 years you felt were worthy, worth your time to listen too, who had the right ideas.

    Come now, let's hear it.

I told her "... N... N.. No..." and started crying.

On what basis do you determine the future? On what basis are you deciding up front that Obama will fail?
When did Bush try to solve health care issues? Education issues? Energy issues? Entitlement issues? Yeah, he tried to get us to put our SS into the stock market, and if he had succeeded, he would have been rode out of the country on a rail, tarred and feathered....it would have taken the military to save his ass. Wall Street financiers wouldn't have to jump out of the windows of tall buildings, the public would have been throwing them out....
Most leaders from both parties TALK a good game, but don't do anything once elected.
Obama is trying on several fronts, and you FAR RIGHT GOP GOOBERS berate him for not solving the economy issue first and then tackle the others. Fact is, the GOP leadership can't handled a multi-front attack on issues, and are deathly afraid that Obama will succeed, thus sealing the coffin of the GOP for decades to come.
I voted GOP all but one of the presidential elections, but I am seeking remission of my sins.....

Common sense and past attempts.. though few have tried so hard at failing as Obama is.

Obama doesn't care about health care issues, he cares about Government control, and making people dependent on the Government. Is he doing this out of some nefarious tyrrany complex, my bet so far is no.. he just believes that people are too stupid to survive without Government.

Actually that sort of monetary influx might have been a far better "stimulus" then what's currently going on. The Stock Market is cyclical. Only a fool tries to stop that.

Perhaps, perhaps not. If we keep having idiots following fools in declaring anger misplaced at the free market system then perhaps.

If you think Obama's move towards a Nanny state is a good move, you really should do some research into history.

who are you to determine what the president cares about? Unfounded hatred is a sign of bigotry and ignorance.
NCLB was never properly funded, so he did NOT try. My wife is a retired educator, my son still is, and they say NCLB is a bust, as do most teachers.
Energy issues, what did he try? Quick, make something up....
The stock market is only as cyclical as the crooks running it want it to be.
Alternate energy and history are 2 of my hobbies, and I am a news junky. Tell me what I missed on the few days I missed the news, tell me what Bush accomplished on healthcare, energy, education, or ANY social issue that is keeping America from competing with the rest of the world....
Did he keep ANY of his campaign promises?
He was a caretaker president, an interim president, one that got elected and then coasted through on hid dad's merit, one who was controlled and manipulated by his VP and his daddy's friends. The only thing he did was "stay the course" in Iraq, even after it was clear that this was yet another war with a culture that is foreign to our way of thinking. He also created more terrorists who hate the USA than OBL ever did.....
GWB is worse than Jimmy Carter as far as recent presidents go, but at least he knows to keep his mouth shut now that he is an ex-president. I wish his VP had the good sense to do the same.
