    Should Obama debate Rush?

Seems to me that The Obama has seen fit to call Limbaugh out.

    So, Rush offers a debate.

Rush to the President: Debate Me

    Should The Obama debate Rush?
    Will he?

    If not, why not?
After all, is He is so right, what does He have to lose?

Well, since the question is "should he" and not "would he," I'll bother to throw in my own two cents: absolutely not. Rush Limbaugh is the equivalent of the online troll. Acknowledging their existence only makes them stronger, and being right counts for nothing. They're not bound by the same rules of maturity and staying on point as you yourself may be. No, Obama could be 100% right throughout the debate and would still lose simply by way of being dragged into the mud with Rush.

Also, it would set a really dangerous precedent. If Obama showed himself willing to accept the challenges of Rush, it would be blood in the water for every single American citizen who'd want their own shot in the ring.

No he shouldn't. The President shouldn't entertain hyper partisan entertainers simply because they have a bully pulpit. Rush isn't a political leader, he's a talk show host. The President should focus on running this nation and not engaging in contests with hyper partisan talking heads.

The President has a lot more important things to be doing in the day other than debating Rush Limbaugh. I don't know how this crap spun so hard out of control in this manner, but it's a bit ridiculous. Rush is an entertainer, he knows this himself. Obama is PotUS, he has a lot of **** to do, he shouldn't and he won't debate Rush.
You know the time is right to take control, we gotta take offense against the status quo

So, you are critical of The Obama making hay about Rush being the leader of the GOP, etc.

Because Rush's MO is to make mountains out what was an ant hill.

So... The Obama has no need to put his money where His mouth is -- for HIm to snipe from a distance and not back up what He says and believes is OK.

I think it is quite obvious that no U.S. President should ever lower their stature by debating a talking head. Rush is simply a spin-master rallying the troops against a popular president of the opposing party. It is his job to behave as he is, but for a president of any party, to engage and become apart of such happenings would damage the authority of the office. So no, he should not and I am sure will not.

Right, this is Rush's fault, not Obama's.
