Read the article. He cut taxes as governor, and went cup in hand as governor to Washington to ask for more federal assistance. I am talking about the money he asked from Washington while governor.
Who among us would ask our children for a loan, so we could spend money we do not have, on things we do not need? Things such as better schools, better health care, a decent infrastructure ?
The rich have their gated communities, their private schools, their executive jets, their SUVs..
But the rich comprise 1 to 10% of the people.

What about the rest of the people ???

Republicians and Democrats... one is tax and spend; the other is spend and tax.. ...but its not really funny anymore..

Sure it is. Its funny as hell because the good citizens of the USA elected them. As in most cases, you deserve the rulers you got.

But basically, its standard small government conservatism. He is advocating for a very limited government, for tax cuts, against saddling future generations with debt, and so on.

So why is it that Gov. Jindal as a congressman and as governor has so many times went to Washington cup in hand for Federal taxpayer money for his state?

Jindal bragged in his speech about cutting taxes in Louisiana and talked about the moral imperative to not saddle future generations with debt.

Sounds great huh. Well, he left something out. His gave his citizens a tax break while his state gets back a $1.78 in federal spending for every dollar its citizens pay for federal income taxes (and that does not even count Katrina money). So basically, it seems that Jindal would rather taxpayers in other states pay for his state's needs, and future generations from other states get saddled with the debt.

So, is he a hypocrite or not? Please explain your answer.
Louisiana is a donor state, as Jindal said in his speech. For every dollar we give to the federal government we get 89 cents back. Federal income taxes are not the only money we send. We send oil royalties also. Louisiana gives more than it gets.

BATON ROUGE - Louisiana's transportation department plans to request federal dollars for a New Orleans to Baton Rouge passenger rail service from the same pot of railroad money in the president's economic stimulus package that Gov. Bobby Jindal criticized as unnecessary pork on national television Tuesday night.
[...]
Asked for comment Friday about the Jindal stance on the federal rail money, the governor's Chief of Staff Timmy Teepell said he does not think the Las Vegas to Anaheim line is a good use of taxpayer money. He did not address the Louisiana proposal.

Louisiana to seek New Orleans-Baton Rouge passenger rail line from federal stimulus pot that Jindal called wasteful - Breaking News from New Orleans - Times-Picayune - NOLA.com
Let's see, Los Angeles is the second most populated city in the U. S. and Las Vegas comes in at 28th, but HSR between the two is not good use of public money.

New Orleans and Baton Rouge rank 62nd and 84th respectively. So it's gimme, gimme.

For all their posturing, the Republican Governors are going to take all they can get.

Are you kidding, thats for gas taxes only. When you figure the total federal taxes paid in, thats all taxes sent to the federal government, Louisiana gets $1.78 back for every dollar its citizens pay in federal taxes. Its been on the federal dole for decades.

Louisiana and Bobby Jindal are the very definition of hood rich.
