    You can't ban a country from hosting international sporting events. Sports bodies can ban their athletes from going. But they can't ban a country from hosting international sporting events.

    The WTA has the authority to make sure that thier events are never hosted by a member of the UAE.

    Wow. Second time you prove you can not comprehend what is written. The WTA can make sure their events aren't hosted by the UAE. But if the UAE decides to host it's own international event called 'Women's Tenis in the UAE' the WTA can only ban it's members from going. It can not ban the UAE from hosting it.

    Yes, I think that all international athletic associations should blacklist the UAE from here on until the Israeli tennis player gets a full apology and the UAE makes a pledge to honor all athletes if and when they get to host another event.
