IMO, Jindal is not the one to unseat Obama in 2012, or even 2016.....
and IF after Obama another DEM wins, it will be because the GOP has still not learned its lesson...
Staying the course was the easy path for Bush, and even McCain, as there was little thought involved, and you can see where that got us...

That is New York though, very different from the south.

True, but it is a state level GOP ticket. South however, is as you say, different.

That is what irks me a lot with my southern brethren. I love this place, I grew up here but they can't accept any form of evolution.

Well, not accepting evolution isn't inherently bad. It's using the related products that I find strange and inherently contradictory. Having a candidate for the office of President who's beliefs say that nuclear power and biosciences are all fake yet calls for more of them is rather a large red flag.

So, if true, what that shows is that non-religious people are disproportionately more likely to have abortions while Christians are disproportionally less likely to do so.

As a percent of the population yes, but religious people are having more abortions.

Watching Obama's speech, i have to admit he is quite a motivating speaker. His part on education was nothing short of amazing. Following his address to congress, CNBC aired a republican response by Bobby Jindal.

He is young, of Indian decent, and easily rivals Obama from an oratory standpoint.

My question: Is Bobby Jindal the new face of the GOP?

The question is: Is he committed to eliminating excessive government programs, projects, and regulations? Is he dedicated to less spending, lower taxes, balanced budgets, and strong libertarian policies?
