    It depends what you mean by "public." Of the things on your list, I do think that states should keep records of who registers guns and who they give CCW permits to, so that they can access them if there is a crime. But if you're asking if I should be able to go on the internet and find out if my neighbor owns a registered gun, the answer is no.

    All of the other ones on the list aren't really the government's business at all, unless of course one's hating the government/minorities poses a security threat. And even then, it shouldn't really be made "public." I think sex offender laws are stupid for the same reason.
