I like to think this but...the trouble with this home perception is it gives some people a little incentive to get there a little faster.

I don't believe in soul.

However I do believe in a metaphysical representation of oneself.
When one is subconsciously making music.
The memories one makes, and creates, that will stay with others forever.
The ideals/traditions one leaves behind, for their family, or, for their people.
The world one goes whenever one sleeps.

I call it душа (DooShaaa)

I am not too sure what will happen with mine when I die.

I, however, will agree with Jerry.
Mine will go whereever my home is.

The human brain has a lot of electro waves that are not understood and I sometimes am curious if this energy stays around somehow in the form of a soul or reincarnation...

a soul could be an energy lifeform that uses organic beings as a host. (wild speculation)..:)

Depends. A lot of ways of looking at reincarnation, including my own, tend to belief in a period where the soul and spirit retreats from the physical, mental and etheral "bodies" to "recoup" if you will and then finally the spirit even withdraws from the soul and to put it simply "recoups" until it draws unto itself the materials for the next incarnation.
 
I really hope I get to haunt somebody.
 
I think we rest until judgement day. At that point all bets are off I guess.

I like Jerrys reply the best though. It would be nice just to go home.

Ok, what I meant by "Define" here is to defin the word "Home" according to the text's content .

We are talking about "Souls", you said : Souls goes "Home", So the word home is related to "Soul", which means that you must define "Home" as if it is "Soul's Home" :mrgreen:

So you mean that your soul and spirit could be mine after your death, and before my birth ?

I'm not well informed in the areas of reincarnation but isn't this belief on where you start small, insect or something, and work your way up to a human?

They vary. Some don't believe that human spirits don't incarnate into anything but humans..
