Rarely does one on Debate Politics make it so easy to know who to ignore. Thank you.
I watched like 5 episode, found it boring.. I am not American, cant relate with it like I can other American tv series.

The concept is lame(I later learned to like it).. First I didnt like the series at all, but was forced by a female friend to watch it, and I did.. I though the acting was generally horrible and the film technical really bad. Eventually I learned to appreciate the TV series for its entertaining character, and as it has progressed, so has the acting and the film technical aspects of it. Now its one of the show I watch all episodes of. I generally like it for entertainment, and the film technical of it has become very good.

The concept is a rip off of the X-men and this last season they stoled elements of Superman. I have never seen an original idea on that show.

Its not the characters that bother me, its their poor acting ability.

It takes the mutant/super hero story and brings it to the real world with everyday people. These people aren't suddenly acrobatic kung fu fighting savant's or have access to unrealistic technology (X-men). They also are not from alien planets. The story unfolds like it could occur if me or you suddenly had super powers.

The story has all the well established powers one would expect as well as some creatively new one's as well.

The acting was OK given the no name cast. As with all shows with new actors, their skills advanced through the seasons.

Film technology? Are you talking about the angles of the shots? I thought they were quite creative. JJ Abrams thought it necessary to jack the intro text creative for his Leverage show.

Unlike lost.... Lost also had "no name cast" and they are FAR better actors than those in heroes, still, and they were fabulous from the beginning.

Colours, sound, general quality of shots and editing.. I all developed through the seasons, but was quite bad in the beginning. It actually annoyed me quite in the beginning.

That is exactly what the the X-men books have always been about.

    Again, Heroes is nothing original.

Lost season 1 was carried by Matthew Fox (Jack) and Terry O'Quinn (Locke), not really a no name actors. The other actors were nothing spectacular. I am glad to see Josh Holloway (Sawyer) finally having a more developed role.

I like Lost too. I am glad it is finally getting semi-back on track. I stopped watching it for one season because it went off on so many unresolved tangents.

I guess that is just personal taste. I personally liked all of that since season 1.

The X-men stories are normal people that all of a sudden get powers and along with that can fight like they have been studying martial arts for years and have access to technology the rest of the world doesn't know exists.

They are great stories and are the foundation of the Hereo's concept but it is far from what reality would be like if everyday people suddenly got special powers.
