    I'd say its certainly possible.

Given our loose fiscal policy, our approx 53 trillion in debt, and rampant populism it could be that we are heading the way Argentina has.

Be careful what you read on Lew Rockwell though. Sometimes the articles on their are junk.

There certainly are changes going on in this country which I believe if they keep their course this country will not be anything like what it was envisioned to be when it was created!

I didnt get it from Lew Rockwell. I got it from a Norwegian economics newspaper, but the first English source I found was the page I linked to, and it seems like authentic Mark Faber.

Their are some level headed libertarians on Lew Rockwell but as Tashah pointed out this guy is about the negative of everything.

But not to get away from your point, we here are going to come to a cross roads about what is important to us.

That is more government benefits or a stable economy and I'm not sure which way the populists will turn. I'd say it will likely be to government benefits though.

I would totally agree. You have to filter out the bs to get to the meat.

A lot of times my fellow libertarians get out of control with the "OhHSS NOSS"
    crap.

I pointed out Argentina because of the similar situations that are/have happened. It's very possible that we cause the flop on ourselves.

Most democratic type governments only have a 200 year life span.

There are huge problems with democracy that cannot really be addressed. Even in Europe now its turning into two opposing poles of extremes that work against each other, while all middle ground is disappearing slowly..

Just like in the US politics in Europe is increasingly becoming about media appearance and not substance, more about white teeth and money than about political platform and serious and difficult changes. Its not about proving that you are right anymore, its more about discrediting everyone else the most. And so fourth even democracy in Europe is in decline like it surely has been for awhile in the US.

Democracy in the US is reaching the last stage of democracy, while democracy in Europe is approaching the last stage, if we aren't in it already.
