    1. 300 million people in this country do not vote. More like 80-110 million VOTERS.

    2. People who aren't rich can affect politics. Case and point Obama, VP. Biden, Sarah Palin, Cindy Sheehan, McCain. Most of these people weren't rich when they started out and to this day they aren't remotely rich by whatever standards it is you think 'rich' is. I'd wager anything it just means somebody who works and gets paid for more then 40 hours a week of work.

    3. The definition of democracy :

democracy - Definition from the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary

The United States is a Representative Republic. Meaning the people elect their representatives. Why do I bring this up?

Well in every state we have :

    1. Representatives. These people are elected by a minute percentage of the U.S. ie. the people who live in the corresponding district.

    2. Governors. Once again elected but this time by the entire state to preserve the idea that every single state is a sovereign state.

    3. Senators. Once again elected by the people of their corresponding states.

    4. POTUS : The CinC/Head Executive of the entire United States eligible voting population.

    So what have we established?

    1. You do not know the definition of a 'democracy'.

    2. You do not know how a democracy works i.e. ONE person, ONE vote.

    3. You do not know how the United States government works.

    4. You do not know who does and doesn't vote in the United States.

    5. Your premise that people who aren't rich can not have an effect on politics.
I am too lazy to make a list of all the stuff you dont know about, and it would take ages to make a list of things you do not understand.. Yet I am even too smart and dignified to make such a list about you..

You are pathetic.. Your own ignorance makes you think I do not know about those things, while in reality you know nothing about todays democracy and todays world, therefor you think I am wrong, when my analyzes is base on deep thinking and yours only on scratching the surface, not even that, just blindly listening to others, like any good American.. I am finished with you, ignoring you, you have absolutely no intelligent input in debates, and your claims about what others know and not know, based on your own knowledge or ignorance is just straight though pathetic.. Goodbye.. *ignore hatuey*

    Still need to know?
    yes, I'd like to know.

MZ, obviously you do not like our nation...not than anyone ever asked you to..
The banana republic thing is just silly and disrespectful..

Its better, much better that American citizens critique their own nation, rather than having foreigners do it...We do, more or less, know what is going on and why; you, on the other hand just know what you hear and read - both of these are slanted....
I, for one, will not criticize Europe, nor Norway; but I would love to know a lot more than I do..
You see, MZ, what I read about Europe is also slanted and partially true at best.....

You just do not understand me.. I like your country, but the path you are taking makes me deeply frustrated and sad about the directions things are heading.. I am probably one of the most pro-American people on this forum.

If you think I do not have more knowledge about America than many Americans then you are just wrong. I grew up in a country with EASY access to American newsmedia and American stuff in general, a very pro-American country with America everywhere. I have followed American media for decades, American politics for around a decade and American social and economic realities for about a decade as well. I have even lived in the US.
Compared to what America used to be, I hate the direction you are taking, and I want the America that I really saw as something incredibly positive before to return from their lost road.. Thats it.

You should criticize Europe, but you probably do not know a lot about Norway, but if you did you would criticize it as sharply as I criticize it and America. Same things about Norway is going down the drain as in the US, same problems with many of the same things. Believe me, I am a harsh critic of my own country.
