I would argue that you are right from a systematic point of view, that is, the system rewards winners, but instead of a loss being neutral(go home, pick up the pieces, try again) we have put consequences on losing, therefore dishonesty becomes somewhat of a necessity under the current system. We can change that, and instead of doing the Obama thing by just ending a platitude by hope and change, here's how it gets done, we as voters have to stop rewarding liars, and we need to be more independent, the less that politicians can promise to niche groups, the less power they have to pick off votes, segregate voting blocks, and otherwise shell out empty rhetoric, promises, and unearned money. Also, we have to get in touch with our party leadership and inform them that we want the real men as our candidates and will accept a loss, we are tired of being treated like sheep.
Neither side in an argument can find the truth when both make an absolute claim on it.

The problems is few politicians run a campaign so centered around NOT being "politics as usual" and being a "Change" from what we expect from Politicians as Barack Obama did. It was the center piece of his campaign

Re: Is President Obama Establishing a Trend of Dishonesty?

I am sorry but I consider this a pointless and wierd poll.
Why? Because it's forcing you to confront your hypocrisy?

We are just loosing the greatest presidential liar in history
One, you are stating this as a fact when you have yet to substantiate it.

Two, even if it were true, the lies of Presidents past in no way justifies lies of the current President. I could give a f*ck less about Bush. I'm talking about Obama. Do not try and change the subject.

and you are throwing out BS only after a couple of weeks in office. It is just inuendo and trash. Wait until he does something. He has done nothing yet.
So, are you claiming that Obama has not flip-flopped on campaign finance, the FISA bill, and lobbyists? Is that what you are saying?

I know, I know, I will get another bad mark for disagreeing wth the Right Wing.
No, you will get a bad mark for saying things that make absolutely no sense and avoiding the issue. Standard operating procedure for an Obamaphile, I'm afraid.
