CoF was cool when I was 14. Dimmu Borgir is great. Shagrath does work with Kamelot, and the drummer from Dimmu Borgir has like 5 side projects.

    One worthy of noting... below.

For your age I'm surprised you like Amon Amarth. Usually only 30+ year old metal heads with gnarly beards like them.

Imagine 3 thumbs up at once... that's what you just got for the reference.

Hey it made Gary Gygax rich, so I guess I shouldn't be so judgmental.

Live by the sword and help to contain
The helpless minds of you all
Die by my hand in pools of blood
    Clutch yourself as you fall
    Mindless tyranny, forgotten victims
    Children slaughtered in vain
Raping the maids, in which they serve
Only the words of the Lord

    Die by the sword
    Die by the sword

    Satan watches all of us
Smiles as some do his bidding
Try to escape the grasp of my hand
And your life will no longer exist
Hear our cry, save us from
The Hell in which we live
We turn our heads toward the sky
    And listen for the steel

    Die by the sword
    Die by the sword

    Watch as flowers decay
On (the) cryptic life that died
    The wisdom of the wizards
    Is only a neurtured lie
    Black knights of Hell's domain
    Walk upon the dead
    Satanas sits upon
The blood on which he feeds

    Die by the sword
    Die by the sword
And why does your tone suggest that you do not care about children?

Yeah, Cradle of Filth went downhill a while ago. Too bad, because "Cruelty and the Beast" is one of the best metal albums ever made.

Don't get me wrong, I liked Nymphetomine, but there's only so much of that little trolls voice I Can take.

Sigh, same band. Equally ****ty song below.

Tim Finnegan lived in Watling Street
    A gentle Irishman mighty odd
He'd a beautiful brogue so rich and sweet
To rise in the world he carried a hod
You see he'd sort of a tippling way
with love for a liquor poor Tim was born
To help him on with his work every day
He'd a drop of the Craythor every morn'

One morning Tim was rather full
His head felt heavy which made him shake
Fell from the ladder and broke his skull
So they carried him home his corpse to wake
Rolled him up in a nice clean sheet
And laid him upon the bed
A bottle of whiskey at his feet
And a gallon of porter at his head

And whack Fol-De-Dah now dance to your partner
Welt the floor, your trotters shake
Wasn't it the truth I told ya
Lots of fun at Finnegan's wake

His friends assembled at his wake
And Missus Finnegan called for lunch
First they brought in tay and cake
Then pipes, tobacco and whiskey and punch
    Biddy O'Brien began to cry
Such a nice clean corpse did you ever did see
Tim mavourneen, why did you die?
Hold your gob said Paddy McGee.

And whack Fol-De-Dah now dance to your partner
Welt the floor, your trotters shake
Wasn't it the truth I told ya
Lots of fun at Finnegan's wake.

Then Peggy O'Connor took up the job
Biddy she says You're wrong I'm sure
Biddy then gave her a belt on the gob
And left her sprawling on the floor
Then the war did soon engage
Woman to Woman and Man to Man
Shillelah law was all the rage
And a row and a ruction soon began

Mickey Maloney he raised his head
When a bottle of whiskey flew at him
It missed him falling on the bed
    The liquor scattered over Tim
Tim revives see how he rises
    Timothy rising from the bed
Whirl your whiskey around like blazes
Thanum an Dhul, do ye think I'm dead.

And whack Fol-De-Dah now dance to your partner
Welt the floor, your trotters shake
Wasn't it the truth I told ya
Lots of fun at Finnegan's wake.

Haha thanks. Yeah, I have a broad spectrum of metal that I listen to. One of my favorite bands is one that no one has ever heard of, From a Second Story Window. They're math metal, take a listen, the last minute or so is absurdly powerful:

That's just some old Irish folk song or something made into punk. Here I'll re-write it for metal:

    FINNEGAN DIED
BUT WAS SUMMONED BY THE DEVIL
    TO MURDER! (Murder!)
And why does your tone suggest that you do not care about children?

    Prepare to be re-broadened.

Cradle of Filth stemmed from the Original crazy troll voice below.

Not my style, but if you like CoF something tells me you'll appreciate this.
