    Well, sadly the principles of the US Constitution only matter to a few.
    Id say the majority of Americans have limited to no knowledge of it and the majority of politicians disregard it. Of course, the federal government should not be considering such an amendment but, the federal government is now bloated and ravenous for more and more power so, it does not shock me.
