So what do you consider to be socially conservative? Libertarians are notorious proponents of the abolition of victimless crimes(drugs, prostitution, etc.), which seems like a socially liberal concept.

Libertarian is a broad category as is socially Conservative. I just mean a respect for tradition, history and a veneration of intermediate associations/institutions and their functions, customs and authorities and a distrust of what Michael Oakeshott called "Rationalism" in politics or what Hayek called "Constructivism".

It is certainly able to be linked to some socially libertarian ideas but it is not completely individualist and always remembers the importance of society and associations and local traditions and customs and is certainly not libertine or laissez faire in this area.

I myself favour legalising soft drugs and legalising prostition in certain areas as well as reducing penalties against harder drugs but I'd ultimately leave it up to local and county decisions in England.
