It also has little to do with the OP's original post and this thread.
    1) I study the Bible more religiously than the average Christian. 2) It is entirely relevant to the thread because the problem is not Islam, the problem is theocracy. 3)All of the posts raised to assert that Christ abolished the old testament are cute, but your Christian preachers still appeal to the old testament all throughout the world, every single day, and have historically done so to justify the countless bloodbaths and slaughters in the name of your Christian God. And a good Christian still believes the old testament as fact, so if a good, enlightened, merciful Christian believes that God is no longer a genocidal killer, he is still obligated to believe that he used to be. (and this is ridiculous and absurd)

It is true that Christ's teachings were entirely contrary to the old testament. And it is true that the teachings of the old and new are completely irreconcilable. But Christians still have them all together in one, schizophrenic, incoherent book which, if enacted into actual law, would result in a disastrous and despicable theocratic state.

Thank God for the separation of church and state. Yes, from all churches. It makes Liberal Democracy possible.

You will generally find that all those who point to Christianity being just as bad as Islam know very little about Christianity. All they know is what they've heard on TV or from someone else who is not very knowledgable. Kinda like Rosie O'Donnell. Talk a lot but say very little of substance.

All those who God killed in the Old Testament were judged. The punishment for sin is death. That still stands. Unless you take God's way out through faith in Jesus the Savior, you will also face eternal death. Everyone will. That is not genocidal killing.

You are born a sinner according to your religion. Why aren't you dead?

My spirit was born dead and made alive when I accepted Jesus. Thus the term, "born again". Everyone is born spiritually dead.

This actually points out one of the ways that Islam is superior to Christianity. In Islam you aren't born as a shameful abomination, well, depending on the sect and depending on whether you're born female, but I digress.
