Of course just driving in the Phillipines is a bit risky compared to countries like the US where more stringent driving laws are enforced. Driving in the Philippines is a bit like just point and go.

Well we have too many people on this planet already. I've heard some say that hundreds of thousands of people die every year in motor vehicle accidents, but if we make those accidents illegal, who’s going to care for those hundreds of thousands of people? Since it appears that you support various restrictions on motor vehicle operation, please tell us how much money you give to food banks and various charities to feed and house all these people. How many of these people have you invited to live in your home?

....Has the human race become so retarded that it can not multi task anymore?
I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality. - MLK

Well, besides the simple fact how much I or anybody else for that matter gives to anything is really none of your damn business not to mention besides being a totally asinine debate tactic,

1.Generally people that can afford motorized tranportation can afford to care for themselves.

    2. Generally such people use motorized transportation to commute to work to earn money to feed their families and to the store to buy their family needs so how does increasing the risk to their own safety solve your problem
of who is going to care the survivors?

    3. Your post really makes very little overall sense period.

It isn't a matter of tolerance. It is a matter of road safety. You say "safety nazis" but talking on a cell phone while driving is a VERY dangerous combination.

Taiwan is somewhere between the Philippines and the US in regards to responsibility on the road. People here are definately better than in the Philippines and most other Asian countries, but not nearly as good as those in Japan or Western Europe or in most parts of the US.

IMO, while you shouldn't be able to use normal cell phones while driving, hands-free phones should be fine.

The organization advocating for this blanket ban - that includes hands-free devices too - comes off as a fringe radical group akin to PETA, and I wouldn't be surprised if it were true.
Nationalism in high dosages may be hazardous to your health. Please consult a psychiatrist before beginning a regular regimen, and if feelings of elitism and douchbaggery continue, discontinue immediately before you become unable to do so on your own.

Except that studies looking into hands-free devices shows them to be just as dangerous as their hand held counterparts.

    No.
It's just that there is a certain limit to human's ability to multi-task. As cars have gotten faster, there's a much different limit on the ability of a human to control it.

How is it different than talking on a CB radio? Or talking to passengers - adults or children alike?

My post makes perfect sense when one notices the jester simile at the top of it and realizes that I'm satiring a major pro-abortion argument

I appreciate you responses and I plan to use them when I encounter the "there's to many people on the planet" abortion argument again
