It is so god damn cold here. SO cold. With the windchill it was 10 degrees last night.

Grow a hearty layer of subcutaneous fat, like an eskimo, or Sarah Palin.
That's my best advice.

It was super chilly today, but it warmed up right around dark; now it's chilly again, though.
I'm seriously wondering if it can possibly get up to >70 tomorrow.
It was near freezing on Friday.
I know it was 73 at 9:00am yesterday so I would guess it hit the mid 70s. Supposed to hit high 70s today.

Is white snow racist?

Man, it was beautiful today.
Warm, sunny.
Mid-high 70s.
I hope it stays this way for awhile. 60s is fine, too. I mean, it is winter.
Below 60, and I'm getting kind of uncomfortable.
Below 50, and I'm frackin' miserable.
It's so goddamned hard to walk downstairs and out to the car at 6:45 in the morning, while it's still dark, when it's freezing cold outside.
The cold just feels hateful.
It feels like it's some animal that's trying to attack you.
I frankly don't see how people up North deal with it for months on end. I can't cope with it at all.

We deal with it by moving south at the first opportunity.

It snowed a little here last night! Snow is pure magic when you don't deal with metric tons of it a third of the year like up north. So nostalgic for me. Overcome with an allegoric mood, it struck me that the first snow of the year on the day before the inauguration may be a sign of our new president's sublime, messianic purity, or perhaps an omen of the coming anti-christ's apocalyptic reign, depending on your perspective.

NO that is a Bush trick.

Bush would think that he had the power to end winter, and make a presidential decree. Then he would have God arrested for making winter.

Bush treated making or ignoring laws as part of his presidential power.

I know how you feel. Its windy here now (Orlando area), and will drop into the 30s tonight. Tomorrow's high will be only in the low 50s. Way too cold.

Course, I talked to my people in Memphis recently, and it was 19 degrees, in the middle of the day! That's hell, to me. That's why I left that place.

No, Global Warming is making us warmer, right?

The high tomorrow was supposed to be 83, but I just heard a forecast on the radio that said it might get up to 87.
It got pretty warm today, but not that warm.
At night, it's still freezing- 40s. We're having to run our heater at night, which is causing me to have a sore throat.
If it does get into the high 80s tomorrow, that'll probably be some kind of record high; that's not typical for January, although by the end of February we're usually having some Spring-like days.
It hasn't rained here in so long, we must be in the middle of a terrible drought or something. I hardly remember rain, it's been so long. I miss it.
