Captain Courtesy's smacks. For they are courtious. And that makes them the best.
I'm pretty sure it is I whom he called a troll.
"what is your name?"
"what is your quest?"
"what is the air speed velocity of a swallow?"
Sheer scathing smack-mastery belongs to jallman. He can cut someone to the b.o.n.e. in 10 syllables or less. Sometimes it makes my eyes burn--like reading it is to subject oneself to a high velocity acid spray. It hurts. --even when directed at someone else.
Did I just get called a "troll"?
It's hard to read my screen all that well from under my bridge. Such poor lighting.
Nope.. I didn't call you that.. I said that Egofftib frequently do that.
Damn! I wanted to be a troll. I guess we Orcs never get any internet love.
the teacher mops the floor with yer whole list
Well, you know where to find him.
I haven't been around much, so I gave up the title years ago...Who is the best "Smacker" here at DP?
This is a DP Wide thing. Smack takes place everywhere...
Smack can be logical, it can be emotional, it can be short, reasoned, dry or flat out crude.
Great, put up a list of big libs. Looks like a mutual admiration society.
Kali. An incisive wit coupled with a scathing vernacular. I pity anyone who engages this intellectual leviathan in a verbal fencing match.
Alright, I'm going for off the wall here since this is upstairs smack...
DonSutherland.
Seriously, is there anything truly better than watching someone flying off the handle, doing a completely emotional argument, and in swoops Don. Smooth, calm, collected. He's like a professor mixed with a great speaker, generally hitting just the right length and with pure, unflappable confidence in his facts and logic. Its kind of like seeing Jordan spotting some cocky kid 9 points in a game to 10, coming back effortlessly, and then watching as he toys with the kid as he tries to put up pitiful shot after shot before he finally ends the game.
Its sophisticated smack.
Hey! I ain't no lib!
And I don't think Jallman, Talloulou and Bodhi qualify either.

Is it strange that I look forward to reading your posts? Your sentence structure and word usage is superb and it would appear that we agree on most subjects. At least I can take consolation in the fact that I am not the only American with a passion for the English language.
Thankfully we have websites like this where intelligent and thoughtful dialogue are encouraged rather than frowned upon. The last vestiges of expressive language it seems...
Now, if you'll excuse me, I must sojourn to the living room, "Paris Hilton's My New BFF" is on.
