Why did God create the rest of the universe?

Once again. The OP is asking for PEOPLE to post THEIR opinions.

I know that, but I was just trying to say that the Bible directly affects some people's opinion. Why feel the need to say no Bible, that's what I don't get, unless you want to exclude some people's opinion, because you don't want to hear from everyone?

Doing that just doesn't make any sense unless someone is afraid of the Bible or something. I just noticed that and thought it was odd so I asked him.

You are missing a very important Biblical teaching in your assesment. We are created in the image of God. God is a creator and has thoughts will and desires. So do we because we inherited them from God.

Moe

You should start to realize, someday, that you're simply restating that God supposedly has these desires and drives, not why it is sensible for him to. Until that day, my question still stands, entirely unanswered.

Maybe Jesus is in the vacuum of space, flying from planet to planet, saving the souls of the inhabitants. One humanity at a time.

Because the plastic on earth does not meet ISO9000 standards.

Whether or not a god created the universe, we have a very primitive understanding of it. It took Western civilization over 1000 years to realize and accept that the sun was the centre of our solar system. That was 500 years ago. I think we will evolve our way into answering Hatuey's question better, but for now our understanding is still primitive and so we rely on religious fables to explain the vast unknown.
