Come here, we'll mug you but you'll less likely to be killed than at home.

Quite the tourist advert I'd say.

Btw where is this info on our violent crime rate?
I don't know about all that, but I do know what you call an Australian who is allergic to sheep.

Hey I'm British but that is what we say about the Welsh and what the Aussies say about the New Zealanders. Everyone seems to say it seems.

Oh, you want to talk about violence. I'm sorry, I read the thread title to be about a tool. The tool works as designed, there is no problem.

Yes People are the problem. yet if there were no guns available to people, a lot of men, women and children would still be alive.

Lets see. is "no guns available" to the people a realistic ideal?

If so how would YOU make that so?

And alot more would be dead because they had nothing to defend themselves with.

Wait...what about the "but hey, knives are dangerous. They should be regulated too. Or hey, pens can be dangerous. They should be regulated too..."etc. etc. ad nauseum.

No contrary to argument people are capable of defending themselves even without guns. There is of course the criminal element who will get access to guns irrespective of the laws and in that case I'm not certain bringing a knife to a gun fight is feasible.

Re: Firearms - The Primary Problem

This is a ..."NO Brainer"...If guns were completely illigal and completely abolished the only people that would have them are the criminals!!!
How can anyone not foresee this?!

Do you realize how much more confidence or boldness criminals would have to be able to do home invasions, etc.?

Do I need to go on?........WTF
