Also I would legalize and then put a moderate tax rate on it. People will by it and it will be more money for the economy to get better. Also that would allow us to decrease taxes else where.

Some people forget that the role of government is to act toward the betterment of society, and not simply to punish people who behave improperly. Whatever arguments we can make against the recreational usage of cannabis-- and it is a vile substance-- I don't think anyone can effectively argue that our policies regarding cannabis are far more destructive in terms of government expenditure, lost revenues, and wasted lives.
Put cannabis, opium, and cocaine back in brightly-lit and well-regulated drugstores where they belong, and watch the markets for methamphetamine and heroin evaporate, along with the massive amounts of money that the drug trade funnels into the coffers of terrorists.
