Is it ok to force Muslim women to both wear or not to wear the hijab?

Depends on what the government and community want as dress standards. We have them here too.

Oh ya the ridiculous analogy between bans on public nudity and forcing women to cover from head to toe. Cultural relativist hogwash. The Germans from 1929-45 had dress codes for Jews too, which were wanted by the government and common but are you honestly going to assert that justifies it or is in any way analogous to dress codes in the US, such as, bans on public nudity?

Does this thing cover the face? If it does then you can ban it.

Godwin's law never fails

The Nazi's measures were intended to identify and marginalize Jews. Both the hijab and American anti-nudity laws are legislating modesty. Where you think nudity means bare breasts many muslims think it has a more general definition (immodesty if not nudity). What makes your view more valid than theirs?

Everyone should have the freedom to wear or not wear whatever they want to.

The hijab is a tool used to keep Muslim women in their subservient position if u can't see the difference between bans on public nudity and forcing women to cover from head to toe then I don't know what ta tell ya. But would it be ok to force Muslim women not to wear the hijab.
