No, he has based his presidency on the war on terror while ignoring domestic policy. Now that the economy has blown up in his face he is struggling to fix it by throwing money at it. The fact is he doesn't want to be blamed for whats happening, which he undoubtedly will be if it continues as he leaves office.

Actually, I am the kind of guy he wants to have a beer with. Not the other way around. I never understood why anyone would want to have a beer with him.

While I don't drink, the only reason I'd ever want to "have a beer" with the moron is so I could break a beer bottle over his head. Who knows, it might knock a couple of his lonely brain cells together and spark an intelligent thought.

I didn't vote because of the only 2 choices. I think he has been a mediocre president who has had the most to deal with in recent years. 9/11, hurricanes now the bailout. I do not envy him in the least. I did vote for him by the way.

The problem with that argument is that much of what he has had to deal with in the past 8 years was his own doing.
