My niece who is only 14 years old is between 5'11" and 6 foot. :shock: It's very weird for me to hug someone so much younger than I who is so much taller than I. (My older sister is 5'10" and her husband is 6'4".)
 
I like y height, never wanted to be shorter or taller.

Yah, same here.. In elementary school until age of 15 I was taller than most others, then I stopped growing apparantly.

I had a very late growth spurt. I was 5'2 when I was 16 and nary a pube in sight. Girls laughed at me when I asked them out. :lol:

Then my junior year I started a slow growth spurt and by the time I graduated high school I was a whopping 5'8" 125 lbs :doh.

But over that summer I grew 2 more inches and put on 45 lbs of muscle while working construction full time.

I don't think human shrinking can be avoided, but the best shot I believe at avoiding the other problems is exercise and calcium from what I have heard, unless there is some genetic predisposition to osteo arthritis or perosis, in that case you'd need major medical help, and lot's of luck.

The tallest woman I've ever personally seen came years ago when I was working in the restaurant business, she was somewhere between 6'6" and 6'8"
she was gorgeous, but intimacy logistics for most men would be a problem I'd think.
 
I would like to be between 6'4" and 6'6" just because my dad's side of the family usually runs the much taller range. I stand at 5'10" and am the third shortest of the grandsons, most of the males in my family run 6'3"+, but then again, my side of the family is genetically predispositioned to be attracted to much smaller women.

Well, it's known around here that Tashah loves heels, the woman I saw was dressed in riding gear, so no, couldn't have been her, plus the woman I saw was a brunette, but regardless, she was very, very tall.
 
I am almost 5' 8 and like it:) The days I wanna be taller? Just toss on some heels and go along my merry way3
 
I'm 6'4 and would rather be 6' or 5'11... especially in this country.

I mostly agree with you. I am a fraction under 5'10" The problem I have with shopping is that it is hard to find a 28-29" waist on my pants. Usually, the smallest I can find is 30", which is a little loose on me.

I'm not denying there are any females above 5'10".
It's just pretty rare, at least around here.
And females are usually biologically mature by middle school. I won't say, "as big as they're ever going to get", because many of them will get fatter as they get older. But most will not get much taller.
So a 10th grade student having achieved what is probably her full adult height is not very surprising.

Here, I guess, there are so many hispanics, and so much hispanic blood even in the anglo native Texan population, that people just tend to be a bit shorter.
Hispanics are a couple or three inches shorter than anglos, on average.
Among such a population, my height (or lack thereof) doesn't feel horribly abnormal, or like some sort of major handicap.

It's not all that uncommon in Chicago for women to be 5'8" or 5'10". I've always dated tall women, even though I'm just average height. I once dated a model who was 6'1".

I think the fact that I had such a delayed growth spurt is part of why taller women appeal to me. Basically, I was used to women being as tall or taller than me until I was about 17 or 18.

The other reason is I LOVE long slender legs. :mrgreen:

Funny you write that. My BF and I both were in the Chicago region. It seemed like I was surrounded by tall, long legged Amazon women. I'm 5' 2" and most people guess that I'm 15 or 16. He used to tell people at the bar that I was his 15 year step-sister, sister-in-law or cousin.
