Extremist is how I define Terrorist and Bush Supporters.... | Changing the subject makes your BS smear about Obama's extremist voting record, his mentor being a traitorous bigot and his endorsements from terrorists being "propaganda" valid?
Um...no. Try again. Quote:

Liberals have smears, we have the left's voting record.

Anytime I hear a right winger talk about Affirmative Action they just use the typical line "Minorities are communists and just want government handouts" No type of objectiveness what so ever granted Tucker Carlson was the only one without using that rhetoric but he got the ax. The only person that can debate against Affirmative Action is Lou Dobbs but right wingers have problems with him too. Personally I want it to be gone because Im sick and tired of scumbags both left and right asking if I speak English and that I only got my job because of AA, but it will be a cold day in hell before that will happen.

No, saying someone did something mindless is not saying they are mindless, but most liberals do demonstrate quite often that they are unthinking sheep...I just wouldn't break it down in terms of race and sexuality.
Nice try. | Are you pathologically intellectually dishonest or what?
I stated clearly in the thread that both parties have their share of racists. Moreover, it is bigoted on your part to claim that gays and blacks are all so stupid that they vote Democrat, if they were only as enlightened as us white males, they would vote Republican.
That is essentially what your saying. Obviously in your mind, if your black, your too stupid to know what is good for you.

I believe its typically for Republicans, is it not. | So if they vote McCain and not Clinton they're racist, right? Did you just drop off of the moon or something? I think Robert "Grand Cyclops" Byrd would have a few words to say about racism in WV.

So the question is, if liberals are starting to grasp that it is they themselves (the ones who say horribly racist things about Condi Rice and Clarence Thomas; the ones with a former Klansman still in office; the ones who perpetually race-bait the black community into a state of paranoid bigotry for personal gain) who are obssessed with race and who work against actual equality more than anyone, from both sides even, will this lead to a new era of conservatives not being smeared as bigots every time they resist the left's racist preferential treatments for blacks? Or does the left just not actually care about racism? | I am trying to make my way through the torturous logic here. First, we have this idea that since some members of the democratic paty are racist, this means the democratic party as a whole is racist. The flaw in that is obvious, and can even be expanded on by pointing out that the democratic party is the party where blacks, and most minorities, tend to find themsevles most welcome. Yes, you are right, there are racists in the democratic party...and the republican party, and the libertarian party, and pretty much all the rest. Because there are racists in the republican party, I could, using your logic, accuse the republican party of being bigots. I don't actually believe they are though, and don't feel the need to stoop to those type levels. I could further point out that if, since the fact there are racists within the democratic party, that makes the left bigots, then by that same logic, conservatives are bitches, since Ann Coulter is a conservative. Again, I don't actually believe that(despite the evidence), and feel that most republicans, like most democrats, want the best possible United States, we just differ on how to get there, and what the best possible United States is.
The good news is that the democratic party is coming to terms with the fact there are racists within the party. We are seeing both how far we have come(20 years ago, 20 % would have been unimaginably low in WV), and how far we have to go. We are disapointed with some of our own. We have, and will continue, to work for equality and equity. Let's contrast that to your reaction to the Wext virginia numbers, where instead of being disapointed that so many of your fellow citizens still have issues with race, you rush out and take great glee in making a liberal bashing, and liberal baiting post on a message board. Honestly, I hope your fellow conservatives take you to task for using something like in such a maner. Racism is an issue in this country, and while things are undoubetly much better than they where, there is still a long way to go, and I hope we can actually work with the right wing, and together eliminate something as shamefull as racism. I certainly think using it as a tool to get at your political oponents is just sad...very very sad. |

Please demonstrate evidence that the overwhelming majority (most) liberals do demonstrate quite often that they are unthinking sheep, or retract.

| No. Some light was beginning to be shed on the invisible man Obama, that's all. Voters in the early primary states were hypnotized by the media smoke-screen put up to assist Obama's ascendancy to the presidency.
Since the Wright/Ayers controversies, rural American Democrats are proving to not like Obama for his very questionable associations, his very leftists record & tendencies, the antipathy his associates (including his wife) have for this country or his elitist condescension toward anyone who doesn't throw him softball questions or consider his very old, regressive plan for America as 'change'.
If the Dems re-ran their early primaries I suspect Hillary would have a national 25% lead over Barak. |

It's saying you are throwing up a dishonest smokescreen to draw attention away from your blunder. Quote:

As I suspect you already know, that is not saying black people or gays are mindless (such a sleazy display of bogus race-baiting). Condi Rice is brilliant, literally a genius. Clarence Thomas is quite sharp. Log Cabin/gay Republicans are usually very sensible people. It is the liberal ones who are generally hysterical and mindless.
Have some integrity. Quote:

Let's deal with THAT egregious flaw in your counterpoint first, and then we'll get to the rest.
