NFL: PC, anti-male, social engineering [W:13]

They moved some games to Saturday.

That doubles your weekend 'ignore' factor.

Added the to Monday and Thursday and you have 4 of 7 days covered.
 
I like watching sports, I love NFL fantasy football, I love Ajax but for goodness sake, can people do without having to watch a 1pm game on Christmas day? If it were up to me the NFL should not have played on Christmas at all. And that has nothing to do with anti-male nonsense but with consideration for all the professional athletes, coaches, staff, fans who have to go to a football stadium on Christmas day. That means hundreds of thousands of families would have to change their Christmas plans for the few people who are so addicted or inconsiderate that they could care less about the people who want to have a restful day on the first day of Christmas.

And for effing sake, there were 2 games yesterday so even the biggest NFL addict should have been able to spend time with his friends of family for a few hours until the 4pm kickoff without going completely off the rails.

If you want NFL on the next time Christmas happens to fall on the weekend again (which would be 2021/2022), tape the game you really love to see a day earlier and watch it alone when friends and family have fun without the NFL addict in their family ;)

I demand they let you choose which game you can watch instead of what your local station decides unless you get the NFL ticket.

Fans dont have to go... they want to.

Also... stores and restaurants are already open. Those millions of people are affected and dont make millions of dollarz playing a game.

A real man's game? A ball game that uses an egg instead of a ball. Enough padding to jump of Niagara falls without getting as much as a scratch. And to top it off they need cheerleaders to make the game interesting... So if it is about a real man's game, I'd go for hockey too.

The NFL did NOT move most of their games to Saturday. They only play a few games in the last 2 weeks or so of the NFL season because the regular College football season is over. The NFL CAN NOT play games on Saturday until the College regular season ends. If you are just talking about Christmas weekend? Then that reason is even more obvious. Sunday was Christmas.

The 4:30 and 8:00pm starts obviously are Prime Time driven.. Prime time ratings? More money for Ads. Better ratings, etc.

I am a man, I don't want to waste hours on my days off weekends, watching grown men kick and hold a football down the field. I'm no fan of football. That doesn't mean I'll always spend it with my family though.

Why don't you just tape a Thursday game and then watch it at 1 PM? Problem solved. Oh wait you'll get pissed if you find out the spoilers on Friday... Oh Well I guess it sucks to live your life according to rules, time schedules, and regulations set by a Multi-Billion dollar organization.

I said the NFL was politically correct quite a while ago. As I recall it did not go over to well. But it is PC, no doubt about it, and at the expense of the game and the fans.

The cheerleaders? In high school they made the game better... maybe college, but as a grown man i doubt few pay any attention to the cheerleaders.
