I chose to stop watching television five or six years ago, and the partisan-political nonsense & dishonesty in the network television news industry is one of the biggest reasons why.

Let's call that #1.
In close order:

#2. TV commercials. They are like nails on a chalkboard to me.

#3. Mainstream Prime-time programming. Vapid, utterly-useless human beings stumbling around, overcome by the awesomeness of their own celebrity.

In general, having the television on day and night is an invitation to having someone else force-feed your thoughts, opinions, and priorities down your throat, and all of it is incredibly insincere and worthless.

Best just to go find a good sports bar whenever you want to catch a good ball game.
The cold beer is more expensive there, but keeping and preserving your soul is worth the price of admission.

Yes Kelly is a hypocrite, because she remained silent publicly while several women were being harassed in Kelly's own place of work , but now she devotes countless hours of her TV show to insinuating that Trump sexually harassed women.

The very interesting dynamic of Fox News viewers is they seem not to be interested in seeing a discussion on what people are saying around the water cooler on current events. Instead, they see every broadcast as an opportunity to either advance or hinder an agenda and they want those opportunities used to advance their agenda. Even if I don't necessarily agree with the views and opinions of the speakers, be they hosts or guests, or I'm disinterested in a particular line of questioning, it doesn't bother me because I have the ability to make up my own mind and think for myself. Fox viewers care about their agenda being affirmed. Maybe they are confident they can think for themselves regardless of how a particular segment is going but are afraid others watching aren't so capable.

A REPUBLICAN Judge threw the case out. Yet Trump and others parade her around as 'proof' Clinton had an affair.... :doh

Now the same folks who believe the two Clinton accusers deny Megyn? Why???

Odd how many men wait years, decades, til after retiring to 'tell all' but no mention of that.

I see this as the rabid right eating (n not in that fun, kinky sorta way) one of their own when the WOMAN dares to defy their wishes.

Newsflash, fox viewers, Fox news has 'sexualized' reporters because that's who you responded the most to. Rich of you to go around blaming her when it was you ogling her just a few days ago.

Now, I'm not Kelly fan, but she comes across as calm, courteous and intelligent in that bit. We all know that those are not traits that misogynists like in women, however.

Also, that video in post #5 cuts off the best part, the epic shutdown Megyn dishes out at the end:

The blind adoration of Trump and the inability of his followers to think clearly when discussing him reminds me of the Jonestown followers. Look how well that worked out for them.

Agree! Being a republican or conservative shouldn't mean she has to ignore that fact she is a woman who supports/defends women's issues or call out a cad like Trump for what he is. The whole concept that only liberal women take issues with Trump is really stretching it.
