Trump or Hillary? who is going to win the election and make your map.

Hillary
Trump

I think Hilary is going to win and heres my map:

You can make yours here: 2016 Presidential Election Interactive Map

This is my being generous to Hillary Map. She really only needs to win North Carolina. I think Utah will go Mcmullin but since the race is no longer close, it won't matter as much as if it was close. You think there will be a tie in Ohio?? I think Trump will likely win that state.

Ohio ends up exactly tied?

No, like many prediction maps I included any toss ups. I personally cant decide on ohio so I left it as a toss up and it could go either way. Are you not familiar with electoral prediction maps? This is very common, I find them interesting you should check them out. Here's just one of MANY sites that has a bunch and where you can make your own. 2016 Presidential Election Forecast Maps

How can they interpret what they haven't even seen? Most people are going by what the media has told them without looking into it themselves. All you have to do to realize he is joking around is to listen to the tone of his voice and the laughs he is getting for what he is saying. They are quite clearly finding his comments amusing and he is clearly looking for laughs.

That is your interpatation, and I understand guy talk, ex military, HS sports, been in lots of locker rooms, last time I heard that kind of talk was Junior High, 7th grade, not from a 69 year old man. C'mon dude, that kind of language is unacceptable, which he apoligized for, as he should have. I work at UT, know a few politicall active young women, they were all offended by his boy talk, thus his nose dive in the polls, barring an earth shattering wiki leak, Clinton by a landslide, maybe.

For all the enthusiasm for Trump, there are just as many repulsed, and they do vote. Face it, there are not enough pissed off white men to carry Trump to 270, this election belongs to the ladies, they will be deciding the outcome.

Why do you mention "pissed off white men", I men I guess I understand what you are saying that without the woman vote a candidate can be in trouble but what I'm getting at is I know pissed off white men that aren't voting for Trump. My father is one of them.

I did make my own see post #6

Yes I am familiar that news sites use toss up but usually when people make predictions they choose the toss ups

There is nothing wrong with the talk among guys. It's even less of a problem since it was only meant to be funny. It's not even unique with guys to talk like this, so honestly these women just need to get a clue.

Also, the comments were made quite a few years ago, so he wasn't sixty nine at the time.

? Maybe there's a link I missed the one I used only had three options, I'll check it out, thanks!

I go with however many polls had hillary up hillary will win that state. The more polls in her favor, the more likely it is she wins any specific state. So since it was only until recently that the state has been fluctuating, I still give it a Trump lean, for now. Since most polls had Trump winning before. It's interesting that Ohio can't decide even though all the leadership doesn't like Trump.

well we know what the former Dem governor of PA said-He thought Hillary would win because there are more ugly women than pretty ones and Hillary is pandering for the ugly vote

That's why it stumps me. I also live in PA but go over to Ohio and I see a good mix of signs there. In PA this year there's actually not many signs at all, it's weird.

I don't know if that's true or not but as a resident of PA I've always thought Ed Rendell was a scum bag.

well we do know that many of the hillary ads-be it from her campaign or her surrogate attack dogs (PrioritiesUSA) are appealing to those who are mad others have called them retarded, or crippled or ugly. and it makes sense-the left tries to win the votes of those who are perceived as losers while the right tries to seduce those who are seen as winners

If you say so but either strategy seems "retarded and ugly" ugly to me since those terms are subjective and typically people that think are seen in a poor light period. In real life most, not all the people that commonly talk about winners or losers are douche bags. That goes for the overly judgmental pompous idiots and the self labeling victims (card playing victims).

And I too am an angry white man, that does not mean I would vote for Trump, far from it, I prefer my nuts in the can, not the White House.

You just made my point for me thanks. "angry white guy" isn't needed to be said nor is it a descriptor that shows which way a person will vote.

anyone but the lying bitch with a vindictive mean streak and an unmatched sense of entitlement

Vindictive mean streak, you looked at your canidate, and what he says about Rosie OD., hell Don even called her out during one of his three debate losses, now what rational person does that, they dont.

The IBD/tipp poll has Trump up by 2.

Something I think a lot of polls aren't accounting for is the enthusiasm gap.

It's hard to measure, but you can get a broad, although not accurate idea about it.

I could be completely wrong, but I made my prediction early on and I'll stick with it.

You are only seeing one side of the enthusiasm. I don't mean people who enthusiastically love Clinton, but I mean the people who enthusiastically hate Trump.

Ah 51% of those voting are women, how many of that 51% are cool with the Don grabbing there felines, that was the Oct suprise, and the Dons low point, he has yet to recover in the polls.

Yea, it wasn't a good moment.
People assuming it's sexual assault are foolish though.

Oh oh that's my mistake, I meant I haven't seen an electoral map prediction that has had Trump up sorry. BUT that is still interesting thank you!

I haven't looked for one, again though I'm not sure if that's a fluke or if it's on par with reality.
I'm not really sure who will actually win, so I'm just sticking with what I said earlier in the season.

That could be true too.
I've been watching various online outlets (twitter, reddit, etc).

Most of what I've seen there is decidedly support for him, with some dislike.
I don't know if I'd characterize it as enthusiasm.

Then you are seeing what you want to see. Clinton is not winning because people like her, she is winning because they hate Trump.

Clinton Vaults to a Double-Digit Lead, Boosted by Broad Disapproval of Trump

The previous ABC/Post poll found a sharp 12-point decline in enthusiasm for Trump among his supporters, almost exclusively among those who’d preferred a different GOP nominee. Intended participation now has followed: The share of registered Republicans who are likely to vote is down 7 points since mid-October.

Trump May Depress GOP Voter Turnout

◾Trump is getting only about 80 percent of the Republican vote, whereas candidates typically finish at about 90 percent of their party’s vote or above.

◾Furthermore, the Republicans missing from Trump’s column tend to be high-education, high-income voters, who typically also have a high propensity to vote.

◾Voters are increasingly convinced that Clinton will win the election, and turnout can be lower in lopsided elections. (Although, this presents risks to both candidates: complacency on the part of Democrats, despondency on the part of Republicans.)

◾Republicans and Trump have a substantial ground game deficit, with Clinton and Democrats holding a nearly 4-1 advantage in paid staffers.

◾Trump’s rhetoric that the election is rigged could discourage turnout among his own voters.

◾Trump’s base is relatively small, especially if he underperforms among college-educated Republicans...
