skateboarders... jerks?

I have been watching a lot of these stupid videos and a lot are where skateboarders are claiming to be victims. Sometimes they kinda are but what I notice is that almost every single time they are argumentative assholes. Look at these arguing with and disobeying cops... flat out. They don't even try to comply. Some ever run from the cops! Unbelievable. I was hoping the cop would start tazing these little rat bastards as they skated by him not complying.

Where are we gonna go?

Anywhere else on the planet except the business owner's property. Sheesh!

The property has to be maintained and the owner has a right to a profit.

Pay for use and you can use it...rush it and refuse to pay? The park get's closed and a mall is built instead.

The second video is classic. Guy is trying to get his garbage can and clear up jump on private property. Kid keeps trying to jump even though the business owner is right there trying to pick stuff up. Skater practically runs into owner who gives him a little push. OH HOLY HELL... the poor abused kids. You should hear them. Even when the cop shows up and gives them a pass they are little ****s and one gets put in cop car while he and a couple others argue/complain about how they were "only trying to leave". I had run ins with skaters a lot and almost none were positive.

Some skaters are jerks. Others are courteous enough to do the tricks in appropriate places.

Some skateboarders are jerks. Many are not.

Trying to judge millions of people by the actions of a few is silly.

These folks are doing it all wrong, the best way to handle these situations is to call the police before confronting the trespassers, ask them to leave and when they start giving you ****, the cops are already on the way.

Here is a snowboarder who plows into a little girl just learning... dad comes over and gives him a thump on the helmet... damn good thing that snowboarder didn't hit my daughter like that I would have dragged his ass down to ski patrol.

You mean like judging police by the few or blacks by the few or politicians...wait, never mind on that one.

I have had a few run in's with skaters, mostly out on jobs that I was running.

The last one was on a commercial job I was trying to finish up on at a local strip mall, and the little bass-turds were stealing the walk boards for our scaffolding....... right in front of our eyes. I asked them to put the boards back and got the middle finger instead. So then, I told them to put them back......and got the "FU" and the middle finger.

Wrong thing to say to a bunch of painters, brick masons, and metal stud framers. They got very polite really fast after a 1/2 dozen of the guys rounded them up and took their skate boards. We had one of them crying his eyes out. We would have never hurt them, but It was hilarious to see the attitude transformation when they had some really big guys surrounding them in a split second.


But, they are just kids, and most of them are cool enough to know when they are in the way.
