The vast majority of US "criminals" have mental disorders and have not been helped by society. This is neither Canada nor Scandinavia.

Getting killed isn't the answer. They must be tried and convicted for their crimes like any other person. The dirty cop should be humiliated and imprisoned for giving their fellow boys in blue a bad name, because it's people like them that make cops everywhere look bad.... kind of like BLM.

I don't think that is an honest statement... Yea sure they are compared to their population.... but nowhere near in comparison to total interactions with the police.

sure they consist of 12.5% of the population, but the consist of like 50+%( I honestly do not know the real percentage, but considering they do 50% of the violent crime, I would bet it would be AT LEAST that number) of the total interactions with police. And when they do have interactions with police they are 9 times more likely to resist arrest than people of other races, according to a comprehensive study done in San Francisco.

The loss of any life matters. While I do realize that there are plenty of circumstances where killing another person is required, it is still sad to me.

Disadvantaged people have much higher crime rates then others. Sadly African Americans are more disadvantaged then Americans of European descent.

First off, that means nothing to the point... it still stands... it doesn't matter the reason they are committing so much violent crime, it's the fact they are... so your statistic was misleading

They are not disadvantaged for being born black...A black person is not disadvantaged because they are black. An individual is disadvantaged when they have a single mother, when they are raised in a culture that encourages violence, crime, and immorality... when their parents beat them when they are children... When they are raised in an environment/culture that does not value education or hard work...When they have lazy ass parents who don't work and don't read to them when the are younger.

There are black individuals who do not get these disadvantages... but statistically, in comparison to other groups of families, blacks put individuals in these situations far more often than anyone else.

They are to a great extent. I am not an African American in USA, but African Americans in USA are treated worse then Jews were in USSR.

It is important that to a very large degree African Americans are victims of Society. In Canada and Scandinavia, prison is used for reform and help. In USA, prison is retribution.

Jews in USSR were subject to discrimination but never ever exterminated. USSR is not Nazi Germany.

We left in early 1980s.

I left USSR when I was 12, so I did not experience much discrimination. But African Americans in USA are disproportionately imprisoned.
