Do you support new laws that would ban Transgenders using facilities of their choice?

Transgenders have been using the facility of their choice or associated with their gender identity our whole lives, do you support the laws would ban them from doing so?
Yes
No
Other

I really dont understand how this is magically a new issue and people want to ban transgenders from using the facilities they associate with. I currently see no logic and or justification to discriminate in this manner but I'm curious to see why others do? Maybe I missing something?

No I would not support a law of that nature.

Makes no sense why there should be a law like that in the first place.

You're not going to get out of your logic that easy. If they feel they are a woman than why would they tell a man otherwise? lol. This is fun.

Did you know there is actually a movement of trans women that feel it is wrong they are told to inform? Do you know why? Well, because they think they are women. lol. It doesn't appear to be helping that people like you are telling them that they are either.

Agreed, I dont know why they are trying them actually. Like all of a sudden this is a new issues? I think its just the nutters, extremists and bigots freaking out and they are upset of equal rights winning. they know their views are going away so they are desperate and lashing out.

Haha, it doesn't matter to me what she feels. Her view is actually motivating trans women to think they shouldn't inform. They feel they are women, and like Rogue said, if they feel they are women then why should they inform.

Apparently facts don't matter when you feel something opposed to it.

Why wouldn't they share that they were born a man, hence transgender? You seem to have some issues with the fact that people have many different ways of thinking, and none of this is general logic. You generally hide stuff about yourself from strangers, but get much more talkative, sharing about yourself with those you become friends with, especially those you develop relationships with. This is a basic fact for most people.

I agree also. Many businesses don't have the room to put up a new toilet.
Plus it brings up the question of who enforces such a law.
As a businessman,am I going to be required to hire someone to just stand outside the bathrooms checking everyone's sexual organs and dna?

Like the fact that what they are looking at is a lie? Interesting. Regardless, like I said, transwomen literally use your logic to rationalize not informing. Frankly your logic fits their narrative quite well.

Did you ever see a woman use a urinal? It's awkward to say the least. Oh, and before you mention it, yes, I'm aware of equipment that makes it easier for women to do. It's still pretty awkward though.

I've used one. It's hard without something to help. That's why they made something like the GoGurl, or Shewee.

I oppose separate but equal (or unequal) and gender discrimination in many forms.

ok i'll bite(no pun intended) the first time i see a man walk out of a ladies bath room and my daughter is in there ,there will be trouble and lots of it.

I already said there is equipment to help. What did you think I was referring to?

In any event, the bathrooms are made to target men or women. Women sit when they pee, so all available areas to pee are toilets, Men can stand when they pee or sit, but mostly prefer to stand, so urinals are in men's restrooms. Of course, the real reason for urinals is because of pee issues from men that can't pee straight.

Oh and yes, I realize that women can pee on the seat too. Don't bother with that.

I mentioned devices too, or did you miss that?

1.) yep or money too. nor would it ever survive constitutionality IMO just like colored only restrooms. Which were also partially based on peoples wittle sensitive feelwings of "comfortability"
2.) agreed it would be hard and also probably wouldn't survive either.

Maybe you need glasses, because you seem to be seeing things that are not there.
You are a fine one to talk.
Mr.Kettle meet Mr. Pot.
You constantly make allegations and fail to provide the evidence when asked.
You have zero credibility here.
Your opinions tend to fall into the category of "Geez dude what is wrong with you?Just what kind of monster are you?"

I just checked this entire thread, and I can't seem to find where roguenuke actually said that.

How about letting roguenuke state that for him/herself

LMAO and just going by what you said here, you better come up with a better scenario and more detail or you will be the one in trouble for sure.

After I did, as if that changes the fact that women, with assistance, can use a urinal, and everyone can use a toilet.

So not only do you presume to speak for me (and things I haven't said), but you also presume to know what and who motivates transwomen in their decisions about disclosure to others on whether they are trans or not? I believe those are internal, private decisions between them and those they interact with, not you. And there are plenty of similar disclosures that everyone makes or keeps to themselves during their life.

Kinda like the Zika virus that has been around since the late 1940s?...;)

There is nothing really similar to this, but please feel free to share. I also did use the logic you already supported, but just extended it to it's logical conclusion.

Anyway, they are using the same logic you support, so it's quite interesting you're claiming you don't support them using it.

No, before you did actually. I just didn't refer to them by name.

youll have to further explain, i dont get the correlation of transgenders to a virus.

I had a real life experience with this last weekend.
Here is what happened...

Guns N Roses concert at the New Orleans Super Dome.

There were only 10 people in line outside the woman's restroom.
There were over 100 in line outside the men's restroom.
In the Super Dome the urinals are very close together and there's about 20 of them side by side.

When I finally got inside there. There was a woman just hanging out at the sinks directly behind the urinals. Just watching everyone pee.
At least I assume it was a woman. She definitely had tits. She was attractive. No matter what she was, you'd be a liar if you said she was not attractive lol.
Guys did not know what to do. Half the guys were just waiting for toilet stalls only lol.

OK, so I don't know if she had previously whooped out a penis and peed, or if she had just been there watching the men pee the whole time.
But it was definitely chaotic.
I do not know what side of this coin this story even supports. It would have been easier on the lines if she had just gone in the woman's restroom. But she may have been a legit woman, or she may have been a biologically altered trans. If this was the case, she should have been in the woman's bathroom under most existing law.

I do understand and empathize with all sides in this issue.
But I still remain very solid in my opinion that the way you determine gender is with what is between your legs. Bathrooms are not social functions. What is between your legs is the only thing that matters in there. It doesn't matter what you see when you look in the mirror. Only whether you need a urinal or not.
On the side of transgenders though... if they do become the other gender with sexual reassignment surgery, then power to them. That's great for them, now they can use the other bathroom and do so properly.

**** that.
When I'm out and about, en femme as it were, I'm using the ladies room. I'm not painting a target on my back going to the mens room because of stupidity about "what's between your legs!"

Agree. I'm waiting for John Oliver to use this as a subject for one of his How is This Still a Thing? segments. ;)

In the ladies room, everyone is going in a stall. In the men's room, if an individual is biologically female, I'm guessing they would do the same? I imagine carrying a device around everywhere would get a bit cumbersome.

I know for myself, there are plenty of times the women's line has been too long, and I've said "eff it!" and used the men's. In fact, I've seen a lot of other women do that, as well. So what?

What I find so distasteful about the whole debate is the insinuation that transgender is, in any way, correlated with perversion, pedophilia, etc. That's absurd.
